AltNOAA has been sliding into some extremely ugly territory for a while now. It's mostly the kind of edgier-than-thou New Atheism stuff that I wish we'd left behind in like 2013.

AltNOAA: $8.2 trillion. That's a lot of golf! And a big jet from Islam.

AltNOAA: Bridget Bardot held views I don't agree with. I don't believe she was "racist" however, a lot of these remarks come from how her convictions were framed in France when her views were not connected to race, in a biological sense, but rather her anti-islam commentary related to ritual slaughters.

They go off the deep end periodically. I always wondered if multiple people were running the account. It’s been an ongoing issue with them for years.

Funny how these atheists always seem to have a much bigger problem with Islam than all other religions. Hmmm such a mystery. This is why I no longer consider myself part of any atheist movement.

"New Atheism" from its start was mostly a cover for post 9/11 Islamophobia. And in the process we got guys like Sam Harris and Richard Dawkins who are definitely defenders of pure rationality and not puffed up self congratulatory bigots.

It's worth noting that AltNOAA doesn't have the "altgov.info" username that the more "legit" AltGov accounts do. The other Alts say there's a verification process (which I'm not privy to), and it does seem to weed out the...weirder "Alts" like NOAA and Yellowstone.
