Time for Bluesky #Bookclubsky ? Finally got round to reading Tomorrow and Tomorrow and Tomorrow Finished within 48 hours. Absolutely loved it. Loved the character development and the parallels between creating games and the authors own writing. Also the reference era obvs. Thoughts? #books

I loved this book. Started off good but evolved into something Goddamned beautiful in its melancholy.

I read it really fast but I really disliked alot about this book. I thought the way that Sam's disability was used a plot device was quite problematic and too much trauma was heaped upon the character. And felt the development of Marx was too shallow which meant I saw his plot coming.

It's one of my favourite books. And meeting Gabrielle Zevin at a book event in Liverpool was a bookish highlight. Not my usual thing but characters and story were just superb. If you liked that you may also like her books the storied life of AJ Fikry and Elsewhere.

It’s amazing isn’t it. So many good quotes. I have started doing a phone book club for RNIB as a volunteer. It is a fantastic use of a spare hour www.goodreads.com/work/quotes/...
