James Gunn's #Superman is the first superhero movie that actually feels like a superhero comic. Like picking up a random issue that starts in the middle of the action and you don't really know WTF is going on at first and it's batshit insane in the BEST possible way. More of this, please!

It's easy to sneer at bright, bold, simple ideals like truth, justice, kindness and decency. But those ideals are more powerful than any of us, and they define our aspirations for society. That is why we will continue to return to them in our stories, again and again, forever.

I couldn't agree more. They are the bedrock of society and I think people are thirsty for it. Most people want those things or humans would have failed a long time ago. Hell, I'm so thirsty for it I'm tearing up just thinking about it. Real life isn't showing us a lot of heroes right now.

I liked an article written by David Brooke. He says that Superman is punk rock. In a world obsessed with fame and profit, ‘Superman’ argues that the most rebellious thing you can do is help others without asking for anything in return. aiptcomics.com/2025/07/15/s...

CORRECT! I hadn't been to the movies in 13 years. I went for Superman. It was fantastic. So many easter eggs, inspirations, and possibilities. Just so much good stuff.

It’s a great movie, and if not for everyone that’s ok
