WAXWORK That was a bit goofy, and I liked it. Decent story, effects, acting, and humorous bits. The creature effects were pretty good, the ending was silly and enjoyable. Would watch again. 7/10 #100HorrorMoviesIn92Days #HorrorSky

I watched a movie months and months ago as part of an advanced screening group for a streamer. That movie just came out on a different streamer today, never released on the other one. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Finished reading DUMA KEY and now I have read every Stephen King book I own. All 74 of them. Now I need to find the rest. I do have OTHER WORLDS THAN THESE coming on Sunday, I think. But what to read until then? Time to rummage through my books and see what we find.

THE GLENARMA TAPES Wasn't bad but wasn't great. The acting was very good, the look and camera work was too, for the most part. The bad guys/Satanic cult(?) were pretty generic and not scary. Good beginning, alright ending, not great middle. 5/10 #100HorrorMoviesIn92Days #HorrorSky

FRIGHTENING TALES Turns out it was a series of shorts, not connected save a few of the actors. Some were not good, some were not great. None of them were excellent, and none seemed terribly original. 4.5/10 #100HorrorMoviesIn92Days #HorrorSky

Every now and then I see nature up close*. *A bird got into my screened deck, and there was a black cat trying to get it. The cat started climbing the screen. Propped the screen door open, shooed the cat momentarily, and encouraged the bird to run/fly away. The bird made it, the cat sulked.

There's a library used book sale Thurs-Sat, then there's another the 15th-17th... This could be dangerous. I have to be selective this time. I say that every time but this time I mean it and I also say that every time but for real though.

SLICE It wasn't good. Had a decent premise and a pretty good cast, but the acting, effects, script, and basically everything didn't work. Had a few humorous bits but not many, the horror was lazy, and it ended up falling flat. I wanted to like it. 4/10 #100HorrorMoviesIn92Days #HorrorSky

The transmogrification scene in AN AMERICAN WEREWOLF IN LONDON. Also the transmogrification scene in LATE PHASES. First is Rick Baker, second is Robert Kurtzman. They are the absolute best werewolf transformations I have ever seen. Practical or otherwise.
