Here is a very rough version of the For You Stats dashboard: linklonk.com/foryou It shows you 3 things: - how much you've been using For You - how many views and likes your posts got in For You - how your likes/reposts helped surface posts to other people in For You Feedback welcome

i'm gonna guess you worked on linklonk and it gave you some experience in writing for you-style things? because that's a neat little service

Neat. Meta seems to be to repost large accounts lol The heatmap doesn't show anything for my local timezone (Asia/Kathmandu). UTC works

My stats stop in January for some reason. Maybe when I switched to self-hosted PDS?

Looks like I'm unable to use this since I have a custom handle.

Might be interesting to add some "tweakables" to this like you have on the other dashboard that lets you view For You under different settings. Don't know how much extra load that'd put on things needing to compute that for each account that uses it

Is the link broken for anybody else? In Chrome it redirects to linklonk.com with just a blank page. Works fine in Firefox tho.

Bit of a weird question, but is there just a way to get For You to differentiate between "tastefully spicy art" and "straight up porn"? Because as much as I click "show me less like this", it still just loves showing me straight up anime porn when all I wanna see is some tasteful art.

This is awesome!! One nit: graphs don’t go any longer than 30 days, even when I’m selecting a longer timeframe

That's really awesome and comfortable to use! It's amazing to see those kinda stats on posts What factors affect whether my post will appear in the feed or not?

So that you're aware: the For You feed is down (and I can't seem to connect to the For You Stats website)
