So I asked Opus 5.5 to make some performance improvements to @opnshelf.xyz - First load JS bundle is 38% smaller - Decreased the requests in search from 100+ to just 13 - Lighthouse score went from 40-50 to > 70 on all pages - Mobile also does less requests with a smaller JS bundle

A friday morning release for @opnshelf.xyz, mostly behind the scene changes but it does include a big lists overhaul: Every list now has its own page and its own URL, so you can link one, bookmark it, or hand it to someone. The overview is a wall of covers instead of a sidebar of names.

Busy with life stuff but not talking to AI for a few days is actually pretty nice. AI really allows you to be on 24/7 with always an agent to respond to. Nice to decompress once in a while.

New on @opnshelf.xyz Continue with Google: sign in with Google, pick your handle after. Not yet available on mobile app, since that needs Apple for iOS. Also shipped a swipe left or right to populate your shelf during onboarding. Uses a mix of all time favourites and currently popular items.

Shipped this week on @opnshelf.xyz - Trakt import has its own page: when we can't find an imported item from trakt it asks you to match it with an existing tmdb item - We only ask for the atproto permissions we need, when we need them - Full cast & crew on their own page

Okay after having played some more with the @steampowered.com controller, I like it very much! At first the layout felt a bit weird compared tot he Xbox controller, but I've gotten used to it now. Having a puck to connect instead of Bluetooth is also very nice. Recommended if you can buy it.

Shipped a lot of @opnshelf.xyz this week: Reviews got a big upgrade: they're now their own records on the atproto network, with a proper editor on mobile and dedicated review pages. The fun part: you can mirror reviews to leaflet and new reviews can auto-post to Bluesky.
