The engine went silent about 100 metres offshore and continued to glide effortlessly towards the beach. LeDouc and Godbout stood waiting as the silent boat approached. Behind them, footsteps on the gravel as Edward approached.

A searchlight blazed from the boat, “Rot in hell, you miserable bastard!” a voice yelled from offshore. A figure stood up. A burst of machine gun fire from the rocking boat sprayed the beach, sending everyone running.

Edward quickly aimed his Glock, shooting twice towards the boat. The first shattered the searchlight. A painful scream meant the second struck flesh. The boat’s motor roared to life. The helmsman steered hard, disappearing into the darkness.

Artificial grass looks permanent, but it will decay someday. Digital platforms pretend permanence is normal—locked usernames, undeletable posts, forced updates, no rollback. I’ve sent my concerns to EFF (Electronic Frontier Foundation). Even plastic breaks down. #DigitalRights #DeletionRights #EFF

I already have 10 emails pending for EFF (Electronic Frontier Foundation) the rite of annulment will be known! To delete your data. Too many crime documentaries and late-night cartel movies gave Wallace an idea for how he would handle this. Some of them, gruesome; most of them, effective. And in the end, something completely different. His faithful Quigley, a big, mean-looking 4x4 Ford Econoline van he affectionately referred to as Harvey the RV, was ready for anything and everything. People asked questions. They thought he was just another pleasure seeker heading out to the woods for some fishing. Perhaps, a little photography, he would always joke with people. No one ever suspected who or what was in the Thule box.

The Rate of Annulment The right to have your data deleted, be it a count video games, posts or usernames. I've contacted the EFF (Electronic Frontier Foundation) as all other routes have failed me. Is it so wrong to ask for the deletion of my personal data? #EFF #Electronic #Frontier #Foundation

The first email I sent EFF was born out of frustration, my modded Fallout 4 Anniversary Edition crashes daily.

"Just play it without mods." Once you play a game modded it's hard to go back to default.

Some days I wish I could delete Fallout 4 from my Steam account and play an unmodded game, less chance of the game crashing.

The follow up email I sent to EFF was when an admin of Lemmy got back to me, only to tell me that they don't do deletions They can hide it from others but not the one who made it.

When you clear your Internet browser history, Is it cleared from others, yet visible to you?
When you empty your PC's recycle bin, are the contents still visible to you?
What I want is simple and plane, you click 'Delete' and it is gone, not moved, not hidden GONE!
