Comic tip for artists who struggle with layouts or making each page not so same-y: be less literal about where your characters are sometimes. Become more artsy with emotions they feel or information they share, you don't need them standing in the same room/position like a scene from a movie

realistically the royals in REEDS would have significantly more wives and kids but it'd be a LOT to keep track of I think Yengkong would've had like 5-6 wives with way more children younger than Shu. and the only reason Pengsu doesn't have more wives beyond his current two is because he's picky

hey, are you in hell? take this easy pattern from watashi no teddy bear, a japanese teddy bear making book from 1993. I made it so you can print on a4 or letter paper, and added seam allowances. even if you're bad at sewing, a friend is a friend no matter how they look. make as many as it takes.

you have to know the Hmong language to play Hmong music properly, otherwise it's like you're babbling nonsense. Neng has been investing time into findings ways to translate and transcribe words to show how they apply to our music. once you know the words, you can really hear it in the song!

I feel like when I hear monolingual white americans speaking spanish I can feel the STRONG american intonations but have no idea when I'm doing them myself haha. though I was reading aloud some words earlier and I can kinda see my hmong pronunciations ("thi" sound for "ti" so "tienes" is "thienes")
