I failed at luggage Tetris. ( dont know why i called it Jenga-- totally different game. Jenga remove pieces, Tetris squish pieces into exact fit. ) anyway, packing failure resulted in a surprise flight bonus. this really made the flight home, special. #Rydergear

My current work takes me all over the county, on a daily basis. Some days i loathe, ( Seattle, in city, traffic, weird traffic rules, random no rule e-everything) other days, I love my wild traffic obstructions, in the semi- human free, remote areas. (eg. this week, below) 1) geese with attitude.

i had good cat news today. 1.5 years, no one had seen the most floppable, slut for any affection, fat cat. today 530am at work i saw "speed bump". the name i gave it. no sense of traffic, sure it was dead. lying in road. i approached. cat stuck feet in air demanding belly rubs.

finally saw it in person. Kiluaea, HI, 700' lava fountain. standing about 1 mile from fountain. luckily not as powerful as the may 18th 1980, explosive eruption, Mt St Helens, WA i also saw, as a child, but the road closure back then was 30miles away, and still felt to close back then.
