iiinova — where your digital self keeps evolving

Yes I have OPINIONS about this. It should be normalized to talk about these things. Why do you think medias will sometime have trivia saying stuff like "what's everyone's favorite food?". Imagine Yoshi-p coming on stage and being like "Meteor and Clive are uncut." it'd be a King moment.

I couldn't care less about GTA6, but the leaks of Jason Duval being uncircumcised making SO many people talk (positive/negative) is proof that MANY people care and think about this kind of details for fictional characters. Gamers are people are humans are animals. Fuck puritanism. 😤

Trans rights are human rights

An illustration of David Lynch portraying the character Gordon Cole in Twin Peaks Season 3 on top of a background of black and white chevrons. Around him are the words FIX YOUR HEARTS OR DIE, a variation on a larger exchange in the show spoken with the transgender character Denise Bryson: "When you became Denise I told all of your colleagues, those clown comics, to fix their hearts or die." The image is colored in white, pink, and blue to reflect the trans flag.

Yup! If it's a character you care, fine! If not, "good for him" and move on! 😆

"It's just a character", humans will try to humanize a fucking chair given the chance. I speak french. We give GENDERS to objects. No, not everyone cares. But let's not think that NOBODY cares either. 😤

As someone making a classic-style turn-based RPG, please give me news about the game 👀👀👀

If you search for "smt5v demi fiend cheese" or OTK you'll get a bunch of variants that use the same 2-3 skill with different demons load out depending on who you have access to!

SMT:Vengeance Demi-Fiend Hard Mode in 2 Turns No Drain/Repel Phys Adversity or Demon Levels Required

Sadly doesn't work for satan because of his ruleset. There's a few videos and they roughly use slightly different ways. I used this one. Had to respec to out every point in magic, but I did it in two turns on hard as well! m.youtube.com/watch?v=NTjv...

If it's STMV, there's a few guides on how to beat him even without max level and stats om youtube (by abusing press turns with specific demons unique passive ability)! 😯 I dislike the random added rules in some of the fights 😅

So I've seen that recent post about the way Aya Kusube drew Gengar and Haunter in 1999, and I fell in love with the style. So I wanted to try to replicate the artstyle with this little Pokemon illustration! Boo.

Small collection of sketches & doodles that never made it past the WIP stage (mostly because of mistakes I lost the will to fix...)! 💜🍄 Description/character names in the alt-text! #zweiart

written about this before but whatever.

Videogames as an artform have a problem with nostalgia. Not that people shouldn’t have nostalgia. Or that games shouldn’t draw from the past. But instead the weight we give to nostalgia.

When people go back to enjoy old games, we assume it’s a nostalgia thing. Do people assume that with books? Or movies? Or music? People certainly do go back in time with those mediums for nostalgia! It happens! I know when my sister is listening to certain cheesy old boyband pop or punk she’s often having a musical nostalgia trip! That’s cool! But we still don’t ASSUME, CONSTANTLY thats why people go back to stuff.

People like old stuff because it’s cool and interesting. It’s historic. People go watch Metropolis still, but how many people alive could even be nostalgic for a movie like that?

I almost want to see the word Nostalgia excised from discussions about video games – not because nostalgia is bad but because we over use it to the point where it’s actually harmful I think.

I mean I made IWBTG and am making an NES style game right now and even for me, the obsession with ‘nostalgia’ seems crazy.

Old stuff is cool. I know this because I see a lot of you kids on my tumblr feed talking about games I know you didn’t grow up with. It’s like finding your parents record or CD collection. Thinking the primary greatness of old games is bringing back memories of eating cereal and playing games on a saturday morning is a great injustice, even if those memories for some are perfectly worthwhile things.

My pin-up of Shiro got like +250 likes, so I figured I'd share a little something. Turns out that I have drawings dating from 2016, and one of them was of Shiro, 10 years ago. 🫣 So we can do a little then and now 2016 => 2026! 🕚🎨 #zweiart

A board showing a 2016 and 2026 drawing of Takashi Shirogane from Voltraon.

On the left is the old version, where he is flexing in some kind of fundoshi underwear?

On the right, an artistic nude pin-up of Takashi Shirogane (Shiro) from Voltron Defender, after the end of the series. He is enjoying his peaceful married life in his home, surrounded by plants.

Yup! And then the shower scene in PE2 😆

No joke, the only reason I draw today is because of mommy monster tits... 🤔 And I think that says a lot about why I'm against censorship in video games. 😌
