I’d know more about iPhone than android but the stuff above would be universal. Assuming you’ve restarted and the like, so I’d be betting on it being a software thing too. Back up, then restore, if that doesn’t work, set up as new to test and isolate

nly other thing I can think of is the battery is depleted, they have a limited number of charging cycles before they just get crap. In that case a new battery would resolve. I’d try the former first, then the latter

Probably the same issue; sounds like a software glitch of some sort, there’s a process running in the background using up processing power (indicated by the lags) and then the battery is depleting because it’s running that process over and over. Back up and restore
