Panel 1 : Yule puts his hand to his chin, thinking.
Yule : "Yknow, it's real nice to catch up and all. But ain't your boss 'sposed to be with you? I don't see 'em."
Custard : "Ohh--right...you see...uhh--"

Panel 2 : Custard leans over and whispers to Naranjada.
Custard : (Whispering) "Okay what's the plan here, cause we can't just tell him our boss is Flubber."
Naranjada : (Whispering) "Relax girl, we've done this before. The Manager always brings a disguise."

Panel 3 : Naranjada elbows the arm of a Lion shaped mascot costume.
Naranjada : "Speak of the devil! There he is!" (Whispering) "Nice costume boss! Cutting it a lil close though."
Lion : "...What?"

Panel 4 : The Lion mascot costume is revealed to actually just be a guy who happens to look like that, he looks both upset and angry. Naranjada waves her arms around while frantically trying to explain.
Lion : "Costume? You think i look like a costume?"
Naranjada : "O-Oh my- I'm so sorry- I had no idea!"
Lion : "What? Had no idea that I can talk?"
Naranjada : "N-No you just- kinda l-look like a...mascot costume???"

Panel 5 : Naranjada and the Lion argue in the background, while in the foreground, the real Manager wears a terrible disguise and reads a book titled: "ENGLISH FOR ELDER GODS."

noticed the colors of these cards have been looking a little funky upon export but i think i figured it out. here's sparky with a more accurate palette, wanted to keep things a bit warm/yellowish for that aged tarot look! :D #purrfectapawcalypse

one of many suit designs for two characters, pilot and double, who stand side by side here. below the characters are notes on their design: "total accident (i was trying to make double's headset wrap around his head like a halo, and pi's would stick up like devil horns), but now they just look like numbers which is so silly i might just stick with it.

anyway, the style is way cooler/interesting here, i think i'll have to draw a few expressions/poses to see if these designs can really communicate their characters well? i considered making double's outfit slightly different but this feels more in line with the story, the only thing being different is his head"
