Move 84 in my #100HorrorMoviesIn92Days was Undertone, which I liked but didn't love. It was great up until the last 10 minutes or so when they decided to just give up on being subtle and creepy and gave it a basic, obvious ending.

Also watched Lord of Misrule, and it's okay. Kind of Wicker Man with, like, a sprinkle of True Detective Season 1, but just the most obvious bits you'd steal for a folk horror movie. Good performances, though.

Finally got to watch Hokum - it's movie #81 on my 100 movies before Halloween list! - and it's definitely in the running for my favorite horror flick of the year. Also, ghosts in McCarthy's flicks are NOT TO BE FUCKED WITH.

Movie 76 in #100HorrorMoviesIn92Days is one I'm having MUCH more fun with. So far it's been a: Happy Death Day (2017), just when I thought there weren't any more good spins left to put on the classic slasher flick. Shouldn't have waited so long to watch this one!

Hopefully going to see Resident Evil this weekend but in the meantime, my next movie for #100HorrorMoviesIn92Days is: Evil Dead Burn (2026), which seemed like it caught a lot of flak from fans for being too mean spirited. So far it IS pretty mean but also often darkly funny. I'm digging it.

I felt burned after paying full price to go see Ghosts of Mars in the theatre. I know there's folks who like it but, honestly, I cannot see what they enjoy in it. Whatever quality is in there that they like exists in my blind spot and I can't twist my head around to where that thing is visible.

Body Bags I always let slip by me because it's a TV movie, so I figure by it's nature it'll be watered down, at least a bit. The Ward I've been putting off because I, at BEST, liked-but-didn't-love anything he did after In the Mouth of Madness, which really seems to be his last TRULY GREAT flick.

Movie 69 for #100HorrorMoviesIn92Days? Nice. For this one and #70 I'm rectifying a mistake by watching the last two John Carpenter flicks I've never seen, a mid-era one and late one: Body Bags (1993) and The Ward (2010), which I have blown off time and again, but no longer!

Movie 67 for #100HorrorMoviesIn92Days is a Canadian low-budget affair: Deadsight (2018), about a guy who's been blinded and a pregnant cop trying to survive a Canuck zompocalypse. It's pretty okay! Ry Barrett - Johnny from In A Violent Nature! - plays one of the zoms.

At the 2/3 mark of #100HorrorMoviesIn92Days with movie 66, and, fuck it, I'm finally going to bite the bullet and watch: Poltergeist (2015), even though the original is one of my absolute all-time top 5 favorite horror flicks. At least this one's got Sam Rockwell, he's usually good. 🤷
