For movies 71 and 72 in #100HorrorMoviesIn92Days I'm doing a Lee Cronin double feature, catching up on the flicks of his I haven't seen with: The Hole in the Ground (2019) and The Mummy (2026). I can finally bookend Evil Dead Rise, which I fucking dig.

Hole in the Ground is very creepy, and very low key compared to Rise. Very solid feature debut! Ireland's been producing some interesting horror flicks & directors.

I loved Hole in the Ground. I saw it back when it came out and honestly I think I like it better than Rise.

Hopefully going to see Resident Evil this weekend but in the meantime, my next movie for #100HorrorMoviesIn92Days is: Evil Dead Burn (2026), which seemed like it caught a lot of flak from fans for being too mean spirited. So far it IS pretty mean but also often darkly funny. I'm digging it.
