In September of 1988, I had planned a trip to Lake O'Hara, and I continued on to Lake Oesa. It had snowed earlier to my delight. This picture was shot with a Tachihara 4x5 view camera and a 120mm Schneider lens, T-Max film. The black and white photograph is of a snow-covered rocky shoreline in the foreground, in the middle part of the picture is a reflection of mountains in the clear calm waters of Lake Oesa, and the backdrop of a snow-covered mountain wall competes with the upper part of the picture.
