So last night I saw a photo of someone dude on my bed. I asked my boyfriend who it was as I didn’t recognize them to be a family member or friend on either side. Turns out it was my senior photo pre transition and I didn’t even recognize it. Glad I’m at this point in transition

For once I had a fantastic birthday yesterday. I always get super stressed and depressed around it yet this time I didn’t feel it at all. My bf treated me to getting my ears pierced finally, as I kept putting it off. We had sushi and he gave me a massage and just relaxed at home. It was the best!

Why is it when I wake up to use the restroom or pet my cat I have to stay awake. I never can fall back asleep easy. All I wanted was to sleep more but instead I wake up an hour before my alarm. I just wanna be done with work so I can take a bath and nap!!

Sometimes it breaks my heart seeing art people bring to the frame shop. Seeing people’s drawings is both beautiful and sad as very often they are pieces that a loved one that passed made. I’m just glad I can be a small part of the process and frame gorgeous art for people

It had a price of art on it their daughter made along with a nice note saying thank you and that I’m “a treasure to be found” I didn’t even notice the 5 bucks they put in it. I feel I work hard as I care about my job no matter what it is. But with this one if feels so much different and I love it

I got to work with an old couple to put a frame together that they had. They wanted a mat and for it to just look nice as it was a gift. I took care of them and even found an extra mat that I thought fit better and swapped it out for them. When they returned they gave me a hand made card

Working in a frame shop is a very fun fulfilling job thus far. I get to help people put memories of theirs into something they will keep for a life time. From vacation souvenirs to pictures of lost ones we get to create something special. Today reinforced how much I enjoy working here

Three years ago I presented as myself for the first time. Wore a simple outfit and asked my best friend if he would accompany me on a walk by the river. It was a very special moment for me and I’m lucky that I get to call him my bf now.Now we get to do the walk again but as partners.

Uuuugh attempting to do a French accent for a dnd character is annoying!! I can’t wrap my head around it and if I try to follow the dropping the “H” or whatever I forget the rule down the line. Doesn’t help because I don’t feel confident in it I get nervous and laugh
