I was babysitting my brothers bunny earlier this summer and decided to paint her as a character that would fit into the MTG Bloomburrow plane, whilst taking ryan Pancoast's oils course. I used the 'Valley Questcaller' card as my design brief and this is what I came up with. Oils on aluminium 12x16"

Evithorir is described as an elven figure perpetually shrouded in shadows. Its face is pale gray, its skin is pulled tight against bone. Its teeth are crooked and elongated and its eyes glow.

In this scene it stands in front of a large glowing green crystal pillar, surrounded by black and greenish flames. Its body flows and disappears into the shadows. Its hands are lifted at its sides, casting more dark shadows.
Hidden and trapped inside its chest we can glimpse a reddish emaciated figure.

A monstrous, tentacled figure emerges from the mist. She has large milky eyes, a wide mouth full of sharp teeth and a long extended tongue.

A dark skinned elven scout runs towards the camera. She’s just jumped out of an alcove in a city wall and she’s making her exit through the forest, startling all the wildlife around her.

Ser Gawain and The Green Knight. I was hiking in the Peak District In January this year and visited Lud’s Church, said to be one of the locations that the Green Chapel is located, which inspired this painting. feedback from @rpancoast.bsky.social via his course helped a lot! Oils on paper- 12x16”

A skull with a pentacle carved into it is displayed in front of a crimson shield covered in moss. The green knights axe is made of twisted roots with a gigantic axe head with runes etched into it and sits behind the shield. Boar tusks protrude outwards with the green sash draped between them.

"The great hunt". Illustration piece I did for Paul Scott Canavan's mentorship. It represents an haunt scene, the hunter is mounting a big white tiger with piercing white eyes -sign that she's blind- which is roaring as she's sprinting through the action. The hunter has heavy clothing on, inspired by the Mongolian and Slavic clothing. He has long black hair moved by the wind, and he's holding a sword in his hand, ready to defend his wood. The environment is a snowy wood, old trees and branches all around the scene, as the white snow covers them. The sun is setting, and the overall atmosphere looks pinkish, lightened by the lights of the time of the day. Pink, yellow and blue shading on the sky, as the clouds move, forming interesting shapes.

Very excited to finally share my latest painting - Request for Aid I had a blast researching and drafting this one! It was so fun to explore the composition, pose and lighting to find what best described the mood and story I wanted to convey.

A wounded female character with torn wings kneels in front of a grand figure and is tentatively reaching for their hand.

The central character has large red and white striped moth wings, wears metal armour and holds a large spear with two of their four hands. They look down at the wounded guest and offer their hand. With their remaining hand, they request the support of an assistant who approaches with a bowl of medicinal items which is erupting with a thin smoke that curls around the assistant as they walk.

Other members of the court can be faintly seen in the far distance observing the unfolding action with awe.

In the background, large curtains drape over the court and frame the huge cocoon which hangs behind our central characters.
