For Channel Islands pride 2026 we had the single largest gathering of furries and fursuiters the island has ever had at one time! Over 30 of us in Guernsey in total, with 11 fursuiters who came down to celebrate So proud of our burgeoning little community - and nice to let people know: we exist❤️

You still can! This commodore clipper has been running since 1999, initially owned by commodore shipping, then acquired by condor, and now operated by Brittany ferries, but still keeping the name.

Got my Brazilian Jiujitsu black belt this Saturday after a mere 16 years of training A long and challenging road across 4 towns, 6 gyms, a handful of competitions, a few minor injuries, a few not-so-minor injuries, wins, losses, ups and downs, and now here we are at the belt I'll have the longest.

Following another lovely LondonFurs party, I need to express how important these events and the moments within them are to our community ♥️

"Leaving London after another fabulous LondonFurs party, I'm going to echo very similar sentiments to last year!

There's little better feeling than being able to be your whole self, unashamed, without restriction, amongst like minded people. No need to try to explain, or justify, the weird things we enjoy and the way we choose to be.

It's hard to express how lucky we are to have these events. There's not much else like this anywhere in the world. No matter if you think it's become too big, too loud, too difficult, or whatever other perceived problem - these grew from a group of 3-4 people in a pub to what we have today and have somehow maintained the same ethos: this is one of the few furry events in the entire world where just shy of a thousand furries can gather for free, no £400+ registration fee and celebrate who we are. Even the boat party is a pittance compared to similar events, furry or non furry. All the difficulties the meets have are off the back of SO MANY furries finding a place where they belong.

For those new to meets - make the most of them as much as you can. For many of you, as life continues, in maybe 5, maybe 10 years, when work, family, commitments, health, or myriad other life challenges make attending regular meets difficult, you'll look back on these moments - good and bad ones alike - in a way that right now you may not be able to understand. Many will come to realise just how fortunate we are and how powerful it is for us to have a space and a time for us to be our whole selves, with folks who have worked incredibly hard to cater to every type of furry expression we care to have: suiting, art, dance, games, reading/writing, or just being a person who happens to describe themselves as a furry.

I've said it before and I'll say it again:

This is our place
These are our people ♥️"

Today has been an exceptionally good day! It's @sugarmouse.bsky.social 's birthday, so we spent a lot of time on the beach, cycling, learning Japanese together, doing contact juggling, leg attacks at class,then falafel wraps by the harbour! Have a happy-day post-beach progress picture!

Visited Wolf bar Asakusa in Tokyo twice whilst we were away The atmosphere was amazing, the owner was lovely, and we met so many Japanese and international furries Place was absolutely heaving! So many furries! We need more places like this - felt like home despite being so far from it ♥️

Side note: Hip MRIs have significant limitations, as do shoulders, because labral pathologies (tears to the lip of tissue that sits around the rim of the socket) DO NOT SHOW UP on most standard MRIs. They do on contrast scans (see below for a comparison) but a specialist should be ordering that>

It has been a challenging month, and though I've had to offload a fair amount of things to prevent a headfirst swan dive into burnout, I've kept up a sustainable level of resistance training. I think that I don't look too bad as a result.
