ziggystarfish.bsky.social @ziggystarfish.bsky.social · 27/07/2026I think it’s even an issue in places like Cyclops scene. I had no sense of where anybody is in relation to anyone else so it really breaks the tension. How am I supposed to feel tense if I can’t even tell where the monster is meant to be? ziggystarfish.bsky.social @ziggystarfish.bsky.social · 27/05/2026Then the final big thing is just familiarity. I’ve been using windows my whole life and I know where everything is. Even as a very computer literate person, learning new OSes takes time and effort. A lot of these are probably not as big a factor as they once were, but it’s hard to dip a toe in. 150 0
ziggystarfish.bsky.social @ziggystarfish.bsky.social · 27/05/2026Unfortunately, the biggest thing is probably convenience for me. I don’t have to worry if something will run on windows, or that I’ll have to troubleshoot things to get it working well. Which sort of dovetails into my second biggest hurdle, which is software compatibility. 140 0
