Posting this again because a lot of people said they found it helpful! Guide to ALT text: www.perkins.org/resource/how...

ALT text copied and pasted from the linked website: An infographic titled “How To Write Alt Text” featuring a photo of a capybara. Parts of alt text are divided by color, including identify who, expression, description, colour, and interesting features. The finished description reads “A capybara looking relaxed in a hot spa. Yellow yuzu fruits are floating in the water, and one is balanced on the top of the capybara’s head.”

Pina ✨ ADHD Alien @adhd-alien.bsky.social · 04/05/2026

ADHD can have a serious impact on your life and mental health. These are some of the things that were and still are the hardest for me. Thanks for to everyone who joined me on stream while I was working on this 🫶

Split comic titled “How ADHD” vs. “made me Depressed.”
Top row: A girl imagines many dreams, ideas, and interests at once, full of excitement and possibility (left), followed by her lying on the floor, exhausted and unable to motivate herself, even for things she enjoys (right).
Second row: She hyperfocuses intensely on a topic, reading and learning until she becomes very knowledgeable (left), but then in a real conversation forgets everything and feels embarrassed and stupid (right).
Third row: She is often quiet and thoughtful but can suddenly become very loud and excited (left), which leads to overstepping socially and pushing others away, making her feel like being herself is wrong (right).
Fourth row: She struggles to maintain routines and work toward long-term goals (left), which turns into a feeling of being stuck and unable to create meaningful change (right).
Bottom row: She has trouble regulating what she says when emotional (left), resulting in a painful gap between what she believes is right and how she actually acts, leaving her disappointed in herself (right).

Split comic titled “How ADHD” vs. “made me Depressed.”
Top row: A girl tries hard to keep up with chores, putting in effort but struggling because habits don’t stick (left), which turns into feeling defeated by mess and believing her efforts don’t matter (right).
Second row: She experiences strong fear of rejection that can ruin her day or relationships (left), leading her to stay in unhealthy relationships too long to avoid being rejected (right).
Third row: She is distractible, forgetful, and often doesn’t have the capacity to reply to others (left), resulting in difficulty maintaining friendships and sometimes isolating herself (right).
Fourth row: She tries to organize her life using calendars, journals, and planning tools (left), but still struggles to prioritize, making life feel overwhelming (right).
Bottom row: She has trouble making decisions, becomes overwhelmed, and acts impulsively (left), leading to a sense that life is happening to her instead of her having control or agency (right).
