Shifting Sand Land, honestly! Stumbling into that unmarked wall in the basement and standing atop the four pillars just out of curiosity gave me one the earliest sparks of exploration and discovery in videogames that I've come to crave so much.

This was TOUGH, there's so many great ice areas out there. But I think I gotta give it to Coltrane Peak from Mina the Hollower. Frigid Peak + Train Graveyard is just such a cool combination. Plus I just love seeing Mina slide around on rails (even if it's not my favorite thing to control)

I still haven't played Spark (Jane making me do MORE research smh) but I vibe with Lightoria Bay. That background is gorgeous. A city on the waterfront is a fun variant on a city level, too :)

Been a while since I've thought about Epic Yarn, but I still remember Frosty Wheel being a favorite. I just think it's really pretty - the way things the shimmer, the felted tree background - all of it. The song is also lovely; one of the first tunes I learned to play on the piano as a kid

Gonna go with the Holehills! I like a lot of the dungeons from this segment of the game, but this one has the most unique aesthetic. Though I will also shoutout Tyrian Maze and Telluric Path since I think the way you access them is really cool

It's gotta be Toto'haha. One of my favorite instances of a starting area also being the final area. The island never fundamentally changes, you only gain a greater understanding of what it is. If we're talking occerpaf 1 it's probably the Highlands

I actually made a The Killer costume for halloween last year. I used paper mache to make the base of the head and my mom made a cool beak using folded sturdy paper. I'm really happy with how it came out :) A friend dressed up as BB and we got to do a fun duo costume thing

Basically this character just betrayed the protags and their fate is up in the air right now. A lot is likely going to come down if her second-in-command (who is implied circumstantially to have romantic connection with her) stays totally loyal to her dreams of conquest or not

gen 5 ended up being better than I expected, but still pretty solidly worse. Victini was neat, its crime was really just that the middle 50% of it is pretty boring. Keldeo is just plainly pretty alright! Genesect is. Not good

I like Blizzaurus :) Draconic beast that turns into a little pixie for its powered-up desperation form is such a fun idea. The ice theming is always a plus for me too
