Often when fairies take human disguises, they look convincing from afar, but the more you look the more you see something is not quite right, Is it an evil eye? Or is it a good…gaze. I wanted some unnatural inhuman elements in my Vtuber design. What do you think?

The Crocutta is a medieval voice mimicking a monster written about by Roman scholars. It would stalk its prey and learn to mimic their voices to lure them into the woods. Have you ever heard a familiar voice only to find that there is nobody there?

Cosplay: It was super nerve wracking for me, but a bucket list itme. Thank you to Meok🐐 for doing my makeup and Lunary for duoing . I quickly realized that I have never practiced like...expressions, poses, mannerisms etc. I got a little deer in the headlights, but it went okay!

Group: This doesn't really apply to anyone else but I booked an airbnb and filled it with 10 people. Our house was so goated. Some of my favorite moments of the entire weekend was sitting at the house bar making awful drinks or in the backyard with my housemates and chatting.

The people: The best part of the convention. This is the standout feature of a vtuber convention. It is a constant parade of meeting mutuals and new people. I probably saw like... 50 moots, and there were a ton more I really really wanted to but couldn't make the timing work.

Programing: I think it was pretty good. I only went to like 4 panels because I was so busy with other things. Tons of meetups and small events too. The quality of the Artist Vendors was above average for anime cons IMO. I think the industry vendor hall was also really strong.

The Con staff: I have no complaints. Especially for a really young con at a new venue I think they did a great job. I am sure there was plenty of behind the scenes emergencies but I personally never saw anything exploding.

The Zephysonas pre-con Mixer. Was perfect 😭 Attendance, vibes, venue all great. I am very shy so pre-game socializing was a great icebreaker for me and I think it made my con experience much smoother. Heard a lot of good feedback from others as well… future tradition? 👀🍉

Offkai retrospective. I want to hear your thoughts too!! Location: I think San Jose is a good host city You have access to SFO and SJ airports and the city isn't a wasteland like Burlingame (sorry). There's actually venues and bars, food options and karaokes nearby etc.

Bro DHL shipping is actually insane. By the time I wake up and read the message from an international shipper that they sent the package it’s like already at my door. Not sponsored but
