I'm working on lino for a transformation-themed road-sign print. I've got a lot of ideas for a multimedia project that explores the idea of "place", namely how spatial-temporal overlaps with (lived) experience. DANGER. THINGS CHANGE.

I really enjoyed this story! Maybe Lucky wasn't so unlucky after all! I'm looking forward to reading more in the series!

This is how your email finds me. If those perma'heels are anything to go by, the new secretary job is full-time and expects strict adherence to the dress code (even outside of office hours). Superb commission from @blackshirtboy.bsky.social, thank you so much!

I'm starting a new linocut art project. Exciting as (i) this kicks off the multimedia worldbuilding for my next novel, and (ii) deftly hacking away at a lino block is very satisfying.

Thank you to everyone for supporting the first issue of our zine. Sadly, we have been contacted about, and further investigated, an author who has expressed views conflicting those the Transform Fiction team stand for. We'd like to publish a statement regarding this.

It has come to light that one author in Issue #1 has expressed views (shared to us after publication by members of the community, as well as in an FA journal they themselves posted after our story selection phase) which do not represent Transform Fiction, nor our aim of bringing together furry writers. We have made amendments to the zine to reduce the impact of this individual. The team is reviewing our story selection process to avoid this happening again in future.

Transform Fiction values the self-expression that the theme of transformation offers to explore who we are within a diverse, beautiful world of possible forms. We want our zine to provide a space for authors to share their stories in an era which (perhaps increasingly) is hostile to creative self expression. While some call to "keep politics out of furry," they speak from a place of privilege to exclude thoughts, ideas, or people that they themselves have labelled as too different. Transform Fiction stands up for all members of the community. We've made a mistake, are making improvements, and hope our zine can become a creative spark that empowers our writers and readers.

FA regardless of your personal feelings, is the core of the fandom and losing it would mean YEARS AND YEARS of art, messages, pages, and memorials for people that have passed, would be gone. We CANNOT allow ourselves to rely simply on sites like bsky, twitter, insta, etc. etc. to be our defaults.

Embosize (v.) To both *become* something and also *be with* that same something simultaneously. Specifically, in reference to a character or creature capable of being transformed into. From English 'Embody' (v.) + 'Fantasize' (v.)

Sneptember is here, which means it's time to plug PHASE THREE (paperback & ebook)! PHASE THREE is set in a future where everything has gone wrong. An apocalyptic invasion of alien self-replicating robots provides a backdrop for Delta, an anthro snow leopard, to confront who they have become.

The "Universal Notebooks" are a series of lab books which appear to document research into parallel universes, but also journal two friends and their self-exploration, becoming lagomorphs (read: anthro hares) with new identities, experiences, and lives to make their own…

Releasing soon — over on Patreon then on my FA — is a collaboration between @anler.bsky.social and me, a five-part series using art and journaling to explore a fictional journey into parallel universes with anthro hares. Lots of sci-fi and post-transformation vibes that I adore writing.

And a picture from Confuzzled earlier this year, because it feels odd to share the internals without showing Diane Foxington as she's meant to be seen!

I've been iterating on the internal pads of my Diane partial fursuit head. A 3D-print + velcro means fully adjustable — part-inspired by @mugiwaracosplay.bsky.social's head strap tutorial (highly recommended!). This feels like a good compromise between comfort & support. Worn with a balaclava.

Last time, my planning wasn't concrete enough, and I wish to improve on that using fact-finding to test the plot. I'm thinking, how useful would it be to create notes *from* the world rather than defining it? Almost like found-footage.

Zen @zenyote.bsky.social · 10/07/2026

I'm pulling together ideas for my next book. Mostly reflecting on Phase Three (and my creative process) for what worked and didn't. I really enjoy multimedia projects — this time, I'm considering a card game (for worldbuilding). Lino prints too. Things that make the setting feel more real.

I finished reading "FINNA", written by Nino Cipri, and it was wonderful. My type of inventive sci-fi with the perfect blend of silliness, vivid ideas, and queerness; with plenty of digs at capitalism. Highly recommended for anyone who's ever been lost in IKEA.

Unlike the pilot, we won't keep a backlog. This will help with workload and isn't needed given to our track record of submissions. Responses will be yes or no per zine, though we may encourage re-submissions; stories are chosen for quality, premise, and fit amongst other published stories too!
