Had problems with my laptop's cooling & decided to buy a new CPU fan, thinking it was borked! ....lo and behold, I open the old fan and it was just filled with dust. That I had... somehow overlooked during my last deep clean of the machine x) Quick clean & new thermal paste and it all works again!

It's easy to complain about DeviantArt but it lets you mass edit your art to be displayed at its original resolution UNCOMPRESSED and that is a game changer! My gallery looks so much nicer now *w*

I like my job a lot but I kinda wish it didn't force me to keep up with the news and politics. At the moment, following politics, the state of the world & the economy is so mentally exhausting. The pessimism is contagious and few institutions or figures share solutions or give outlets for hope.

King GiGiGi, badnik-king of all penguinators and ice levels (2023)

Illustration of "K-1n6_Gx3" (GiGiGi), formally referred to as King Gigigi. Gigigi is a penguinator badnik, except he's a big ol fat guy with strong as hell arms ending in mittens. his body is metallic, with segmented joints in his arms, legs, and torso. With a helmet, shoulder pads, and metal tassets across his waist (I had to look up what those are called, it's those plate-things that protect the thighs and hips) he generally looks like a samurai. Which is ironic, given he's wielding a giant cube-wispon axe held over his shoulder instead of a katana. His belt and shoulder pads are emblazoned with a gold G for each, counting as three total. He's also wearing a stripped scarf, because of course he is.

His design is meant to remind you of another Penguin King. Also, penguinator badniks are evil robot penguins from the Sonic the Hedgehog series. They're very cute.

I sometimes really regret deleting some of my old art. Sure, back then it carried bad memories and associations, but it still meant something when I made it. And it may have meant something to other people. Now it's gone forever! Or well, hidden on a hard drive of mine where no 1 else can see it...
