Tarot commission for Primer 💀

Ngl, playing Marvel Rivals after years of Overwatch feels strange. Because I’m constantly comparing the two due to how VERY similar they are. Though it feels significantly easier to climb on it than Overwatch, though it could also be because of how new it is. But Marvel Rivals feels way more casual.

Oh yeah, recently been playing #Genshin and it’s actually fun. Like, I haven’t finished the Monstadt story quest line but have explored a good portion of Dragonspine, and the two little places to the left (Liyue and the other place I forgot the name of) and went to befriend 2 ships & a restaurant 😭

I realized I never posted a Tokyo Override final episode overview, so that’ll probably happen sometime this week just to complete the collection. Anyways I finished season 1 of Dr. Stone so might talk about that + MR :3

Major Ep5 #TokyoOverride spoilers— Only reason I say major is because of the screencaps I take 😭 Like, I will never get over how pretty this show is. The first set of 4 are just pretty scenes early in the episode so no worries. We get to see things finally coming together and a whole objective -

Watari, a woman in a yellow long sleeve cropped shirt with suspenders and long brown hair, is blurred in the background. A hand in focus holding a bronze compass, opened.

Rural outskirts of dirt roads, a pair of motorcycles and a car riding on it with trees and greenery around. Old, run down buildings shaped geometrically upwards litter the land.

Spoke, a man in a red leather jacket and pants, kneeling down next to a motorcycle as the background is a clear night sky with twinkling stars and a shooting star forming.

Major Ep4 #TokyoOverride spoilers—— So, I’ll keep the minor spoiler screenshots in the first two parts of the threat, but further down will be the major ss and detail spoilers. So if you haven’t seen Tokyo Override or care about spoilers, don’t read ahead! Anyways, HELLO?? THE MUSIC? Guys the -

A lilac blossom flower the size of a dome in the middle of a city’s edge between land and water. Highways crossing over the image and a city scape in the back at moments after dusk. Bright spotlights shining up into the sky with the header above the dome reading ‘Tokyo Override’.

Three women in iridescent purple skirts dancing on a purple stage with lights and people in the background. Leon streams of light, paired in threes, coming from the stage’s edges. Purple, red, and green. Matching the colours of the tights the girls’s are wearing.

A bright blue sky with minimal clouds and a sunray peering above an elevated highway. The surroundings being highrise buildings with trees and vehicles at the ground. Kai is sitting while another woman in standing beside her, looking up. She’s wearing silvery clothing and gray thigh highs. A pink watch and a blonde bob.

Kai, sitting on concrete stairs, is looking at a blonde woman. Whose head is looking up at the sky with her hand blocking the sunlight from blinding her. The girl’s eyes are looking in the direction of Kai with a smile, while Kai looks bewildered.

Minor Ep3 #TokyoOverride spoilers—— Beautiful once again, and we get to see more interpersonal connection between Spoke and Kai. How also more of the city functions, and finding out traffic lights are a relic?? That shit was funny for me. Something I haven’t mentioned either is facial expressions!-

A pink street with city buildings on either side, a left barrier filled with colours and yellow arrows pointing forward. Text on it saying “Tokyo Warp”.

A woman in white on a white and red cyberpunk-esque racing motorcycle. Helmet off and in the top left the title of the show, ‘Tokyo Override’, is shown. She’s looking at the camera.

Spoke, a man in all red on a black motorcycle with red inner tires, jumps the motorcycle in the air. Water splashing off from the the tires. In the back holding onto the man is Kai, the woman holding on for dear life.

A small theatre-like auction room with virtual avatars sitting in the seats. In the middle far back on a stand is a horizontal traffic light. Kai is at the entrance of the room to the left while Spoke is on the right, both looking inwards and their backs facing the camera.

#TokyoOverride is actually hella good, even for English dub (the way I’m watching it with another atm). Though the frame rate sometimes fucks with me, it looks like a mix of a video game scene; like transitions & as if it was made by the same animators as #Arcane. The style feels similar and so good

Minor Ep2 #TokyoOverride spoilers—— The visuals, again, will never cease to blow me away. I love how they’re starting to flesh more story out through driving. How the characters and environment interact with the animation style + the “system” of dots trackers look so satisfying to me. Go watch! <3

Minor Ep1 #TokyoOverride spoilers—— New animated series that got recommended to me, decided to watch. It’s so visually STUNNING like??? It has NO reason to be this pretty. Also, the (English) voice of Hugo, is KRONK JR!! The son of the man who is Kronk (it’s all I know him from). 😭 I love this sm
