New write up on DSA SF. I’m proud of the great work of this chapter—providing mutual aid to immigrants and unhoused people, taxing the rich, winning a right to counsel for tenants and so much more. Never let those with power convince you that healthcare & housing for all is radical or impossible.

DSA stands in absolute opposition to the proposed deal to pass Trump's billionaire budget. Healthcare is a right, not a bargaining chip.

1/ Red Star is proud that our NPC candidates led the charge to transform DSA's Growth & Development Committee into a more open, dynamic organizing space. Huge thanks to them & comrades across tendencies who helped make it happen. We’ve already seen HUGE results 👇👇

New data shows SF only set aside enough beds for 38% of homeless people it swept in August - 199 beds for 523 people. Of those, only 17% were non-congregate beds, meaning 83% of beds offered were in crowded shelters. SF is failing its poor & working class!

Read coverage of my public records showing that SF city agencies, businesses, and wealthy residents are illegally installing $750 metal containers of dirt that violate ADA and city policy, all to displace homeless people who have nowhere to go ⬇️⬇️

Went on this rad podcast to talk about how I uncovered text messages and emails showing that SF Mayor Breed and other officials criminalize homeless people and prevent them from sleeping, using the bathroom, or accessing the Internet. Check it out 👇👇 sadfrancis.co
