Finished off the two veterans of the Black 13th and Alexia Ciannor for Warmachine. #warmachine #nerdlings #miniaturepainting

Ryan and Watts of the Black 13th unit from Warmachine Mk4, with long black coats, blue and gold plates, and silver magelock guns, standing on a shoreline.

Alexia, Queen of the Damned from Warmachine Mk4, walking on sick-looking ground in black and purple armour, and trailing The Witchfire sword, glowing green, behind her.

Did two(sorta) models today, dragging myself ever closer to a playable list. It's gun mages all the way down from here. #warmachine #nerdlings

Glover of the Black 13th gun mage unit from the Warmachine Gravediggers line, with his dual magelock and black coat, standing next to a heavy weapon crate airdrop.

Finished Major Caine for my warmachine. Went a tiny bit off book but stuck relatively close to the traditional colour scheme for him. Happy with how it turned out even if my gravediggers are gonna take a real while to reach the table at this rate. #warmachine ##miniaturepainting #nerdlings

Painted model of Major Allister Caine from Warmachine Mk4's Cygnar range, sporting the traditional blue gold Cygnar plates, and a brown duster coat and red neckercheif while firing jos dual magelock pistols, yee haw.

Progress is slow and the horrors persist. But here is an update on a project I undertook to build a gravediggers army and return home to my native Cygnar.

Buck Hasker and Deuce from Warmachine Mk4 Gravediggers army. Both are sporting the traditional blue/gold cygnar colours, with occasional silver or grey. Both are standing on what looks like a beachhead or riverbank.

This thing has the energy of a Polly Pocket with all the little waterfalls and tiny pygs. Not a complaint.

Day four of #Warmachine picture updates, a collection of my Shadowflame Shard warbeasts

It's wild realising I follow a lot of mini painters to find out some of the peeps I randomly followed are actually the ones who painted to models that inspired some of my current paint schemes. Case in point, my shadowflame shard, which I don't think I fully posted. #warmachine #miniaturepainting

A collection of Shadowflame shard nocturnes and a Hydrix from warmachine Mk4, painted like bone golems or animated undead monsters.

A collection of shadowflame shard incarnates from warmachine Mk4, painted like bleached bone undead horrors, with some coppery weapons, red eyes and neon green glow.

Magnus and Invictus from Warmachine mk4, who for some reason is happy to chill out with shadowflame. He has more gold and green on him than last time he was posted on this account.

DEI of Terror @zelfeldspar.bsky.social · 12/07/2026

Yes! I was struggling with a scheme for ages cause I had tried a neon punk one that didn't work, and then I saw that one and thought that whitish bone would actually be really cool

DEI of Terror @zelfeldspar.bsky.social · 12/07/2026

Your Hydrix was what inspired me almost a year ago to paint my shadowflame shard in a bone-like colour scheme

Look guys, you can't expect us to keep making all these disks, it's not like it was us who decided to make them in the first place - hold on I am being handed something

The troll trader might have an influx of new on sprue marines as a result. I tend to check there from time to time. Otherwise your local is a good bet.

Needs a star wars legion mini. I gotta bring Mongo beefhead's wrath to my opponents.

Especially wild considering some of the peeps in that episode are also in the x files.

DEI of Terror @zelfeldspar.bsky.social · 26/05/2026

In all seriousness, I think this is where I'm headed after we finish the xfiles, so, RIP

The amount of Rahul content this year has helped keep the horrors at bay in no small part.

One day I aspire to paint a force user like this. One day. Fantastic work.

I've been gone for some time, largely busy with work. But I'm taking some time in the holidays to work on some of the model backlog. It's very therapeutic. Here's the work on my imperial vehicle garage from this morning. #starwarslegion #miniaturepainting #nerdlings

Two painted AT-STs and 4 scout trooper Speeder Bikes from the Star Wars Legion tabletop game. All are painted in black with red or blue highlights and metallic streaks.

The same two AT-STs from before but actually showing the colour differentiation between red and blue highlights.

I don't even have these armies, but the face armour classic orgoth, and both Lannyssa and Celeana from the old mercenaries roster? I don’t even have a use case for these armies and I want them

DEI of Terror @zelfeldspar.bsky.social · 07/08/2025

It looks great! I also struggled with painting Gideon's face, it's hard to adjust into when you've been doing helmets forever

Hobby work: Warhammer 40k - Deathwatch Chaplain FINALLY got to one of the models in my shame-pile for 40k - my old Dark Vengeance Chaplain, who I'd stripped the paint from, and put on a 40mm with a tactical rock cause he's a firstborn short king. #paintingwarhammer #nerdlings #miniaturepainting

A space marine chaplain, from warhammer 40k, painted in deathwatch colours of black armour, silver arm, gold adornments, with grey and red cloth. The chaplain has a black skull helm with red eyes. The plasma pistol has a green glow, and he stands on top of a rubble pile with toxic sludge pooled underneath.
