Yesterday we delivered a @38degrees.bsky.social petition with @louisehaighmp.bsky.social signed by over 92,000 to 10 Downing Street, calling on the government to end the misuse of NDAs. After 6 years of reviews there’s no excuse left. With a govt supporting workers’ rights, the time is now.

This is seen in the UK too. Some lawyers profit from making victims sign NDAs, pushing quick settlements for higher fees, and sometimes taking 50% of payouts through "contingency fees". Urgent reform in lawyers' regulation is needed. Link to @khadeejasafdar.bsky.social WSJ article in the thread.
