Japanese music has been creeping more and more into my algos and I’m very into it. I can’t speak any of it but it’s just very very good for my ears to say the least.

Cold tail water systems are a new thing for me. Usually with this heat most water not from a limestoner would be way too warm.

"You must make women count as much as men; you must have an equal standard of morals & the only way to enforce that is through giving women political power so that you can get that equal moral standard registered in the laws of the country. It is the only way" Emmeline Pankhurst, who died #OTD 1928

Going to try and catch some wild native trout tomorrow. It’s always takes me to the best places in the wilderness.

Sometimes I wonder if there was ever a scene cut from LOTR where Legolas speaks to Frodo 🤔

That would be awesome. I will keep my eye on that and see what develops. I didn’t even get a chance to see the locations part of the site I just looked at the entries and was sold.

I’m a little exhausted with the current line up that has dominated the the past few years of a certain fly fishing film tour. This looks refreshing.

Break throughs and inspiration can be brilliant and sad at the same time and I gotta come to terms with that.

I am counting down the days until I can get back out there. It helps that I really do like fishing in the winter.

Same! And if you’re close to Erie PA lets get out on the water in a few weeks. I will be out of town for work for a bit but I plan to be back up there the weekend of January 17th. Tight lines!

I haven’t touched a spinning rod in years. I am all about fishing on fly tackle. I also tie my own stuff too. The spin crowd is really strong especially in the Great Lakes area but I have been seeing more and more people with a fly rod and reel the past couple years.

I was using a fly rod and reel. White Deaths were crushing.

had to talk someone out of not finishing Wind and Truth b/c they read Sunlit Man first. Sig’s journey is one of the most interesting in the cosmere & if you think knowing a few facts about the far future deflates the story unfolding earlier in the timeline buddy do I have a thesis for you #cosmere

I’ll be on the Erie tribs in PA as often as I can over the next month. The week of Christmas is looking prime. I’m just hoping we can get some rain mixed in with the snowfall. Get the fish moving a bit. I’d love to get up to Salmon River but it may be out of reach until mid January.
