i've seen lots of ppl complain opportunity attacks make combat in dnd 5e feel static bc characters don't move bc they fear triggering them this is such a non-issue. as a DM just move the fucking enemies. let the martial players have their opportunity attacks and encourage them to move too

had my first ugly moment with Echoes tldr is, the Mila statues are WAY too far apart. i got to Grieth's stronghold (hard map) with unpromoted units bc i couldnt fucking find a statue to promote Saber, Leon, Kamui and Atlas had to take a detour back to the act 2 shrine and do like 4 map encounters

got to the end of act 1 in echoes! no deaths so far, except one mishap with Silque right after i got her that i reset lmao enjoying the game a lot so far. excited to see more of Berkut as the villain. also the game is just written so fucking well Lukas in particular has some GREAT lines
