A dove couple built a nest right in my parents backyard. The kids (squabs or squeakers, I guess) have left the nest, but one's still hanging around the tree. #dove #squeaker #bird #photography

A photograph of a squeaker (juvenile dove) sitting on a branch in a tree.

Mountain studies - Blue & Orange hours I used a photo reference for the one with the lake to get "back on track". #art #mountains #dusk #sunset #landscapes

Quick revenge for @meerkitty.bsky.social and her Dragonborn! I had fun playing with the water for this one. In this heat I wish it were me instead 🫩 #artfight #artfight2026 #teammystery #dnd #dragonborn

A Dragonborn with a more human appearance. She has slightly tan skin and hair dyed multiple times shades of green. Green scales mark her face, hands, and shoulders. She is wearing a pale blue undershirt. She stands with her back to a waterfall as the waters rush over her. Her hair, skin, and clothes are soaked.

A rough meme-ish pic of the characters from a Dragonbane (Drakar och Demoner) campaign with my brother's family. These are the premade characters from the new box set Fria ligan released, so technically fanart? 🤷 Who knows? #Dragonbane #DrakarochDemoner #fantasy

A painting of four dubious heroes, a homicidal duck, a brittle wizard, a hungry wolfman laughing at dad jokes and a stereotypical elf.

That's good to hear, I hope you land on your feet!

Very sorry to hear that, it's always tough. Lovely piece!

"Azarr Steppe Proper". @highrollersdnd.bsky.social fanart... the first piece I did is from up on those mountains in the background. #highrollersdnd #landscape #art #steppes #lizards #fantasy

A small rocky outcrop in the foreground, with flat steppes all the way to jagged mountains in the background, swallowed by the clouds. The weather is overcast with some slight blue sky peeking out.
Thunder lizard herders move across the plain to a settlement in foot of a far distant mountain.

Love it! Regarding the camera setup, have you tried photographing an empty paper? Or an empty paper with a thin ink line grid or something, to test that the light and focus is even? Testing it on a more neutral test subject will make it easier to see any flaws (such as the paper being unevenly lit).

Maybe something like a sunset has broader appeal?… I love those too, but as a space nerd I just love seeing the Milky Way across the night sky.

I really love this one, one of my favourites of yours!

"Azarr Steppe" - @highrollersdnd.bsky.social fanart. I'm a bit behind so I don't know how well it matches current descriptions. It was a rising composition to start with but it looked quite unbalanced so I tried to turn it more into a V composition. #highrollersdnd #art #landscape #fantasy #sunset

Sunset over a rocky, hilly landscape with snow peaked mountains in the background. The foreground and some of the hills are topped with stone ruins. Birds of prey circle one of these ruins.

I bought myself a MovinkPad 11 as a Christmas present, so I've been getting into clip studio paint again. Really love the Wacom pro pen 3, feels great! #art #fantasy

Sorry, the whole design of the clothes is great, not just the lining. 😅

Great work, keep at it! I love the pattern on the lining!

Inspired by all the lakey landscape art on my feed. Started in 2025, but finished after midnight so I guess it's my first piece in 2026. Wish I made the horizon a bit brighter. Happy New Year! #rebelle8 #art #landscape #lake #sunset

Sunset over a marshland lake with a single cloud in the sky.

Man, I love greyscale with just one, flat colour added. I love red, personally, but bold stuff like magenta or yellow is awesome. Great piece! <3

Been doing some sketches in bed during the holidays at my parents. Likely last drawing this year. Sakura microns, Posca PC1-MR, Panduro Cool Grey marker (CG3). MIght scan when I get home unless I hate this piece by then. #ink #art #traditionalart #fantasy #monster #werewolf #markers

A furry silhouetted creature squats on a tree branch, lit from behind by the full moon, likely waiting for smooches.

Inktober 2025-18 "Deal". Cheated a bit and used color markers. Bonus head sketches. Trying to do these when I have some time over. Sometimes with photoreference but these are are not. #Inktober #Inktober2025

First non-digital painting in at least a decade and a half :O ... trying gouache for the first time, as well... the blue is crazy in real life, not sure how to capture it digitally. #gouache #physicalmedia #art #landscape #painting #bluesky

A gouache painting of a green, rolling landscape with a mountain range in the horizon and a blue sky with billowing white clouds, kissable like cotton candy.

Artist holding up a gouache painting, trying to capture the amazingly deep blue, but technology fails him and the Disappointment can be tasted in the air.
