A dove couple built a nest right in my parents backyard. The kids (squabs or squeakers, I guess) have left the nest, but one's still hanging around the tree. #dove #squeaker #bird #photography

A photograph of a squeaker (juvenile dove) sitting on a branch in a tree.

A rough meme-ish pic of the characters from a Dragonbane (Drakar och Demoner) campaign with my brother's family. These are the premade characters from the new box set Fria ligan released, so technically fanart? 🤷 Who knows? #Dragonbane #DrakarochDemoner #fantasy

A painting of four dubious heroes, a homicidal duck, a brittle wizard, a hungry wolfman laughing at dad jokes and a stereotypical elf.

"Azarr Steppe Proper". @highrollersdnd.bsky.social fanart... the first piece I did is from up on those mountains in the background. #highrollersdnd #landscape #art #steppes #lizards #fantasy

A small rocky outcrop in the foreground, with flat steppes all the way to jagged mountains in the background, swallowed by the clouds. The weather is overcast with some slight blue sky peeking out.
Thunder lizard herders move across the plain to a settlement in foot of a far distant mountain.

"Azarr Steppe" - @highrollersdnd.bsky.social fanart. I'm a bit behind so I don't know how well it matches current descriptions. It was a rising composition to start with but it looked quite unbalanced so I tried to turn it more into a V composition. #highrollersdnd #art #landscape #fantasy #sunset

Sunset over a rocky, hilly landscape with snow peaked mountains in the background. The foreground and some of the hills are topped with stone ruins. Birds of prey circle one of these ruins.

I bought myself a MovinkPad 11 as a Christmas present, so I've been getting into clip studio paint again. Really love the Wacom pro pen 3, feels great! #art #fantasy

Inspired by all the lakey landscape art on my feed. Started in 2025, but finished after midnight so I guess it's my first piece in 2026. Wish I made the horizon a bit brighter. Happy New Year! #rebelle8 #art #landscape #lake #sunset

Been doing some sketches in bed during the holidays at my parents. Likely last drawing this year. Sakura microns, Posca PC1-MR, Panduro Cool Grey marker (CG3). MIght scan when I get home unless I hate this piece by then. #ink #art #traditionalart #fantasy #monster #werewolf #markers

A furry silhouetted creature squats on a tree branch, lit from behind by the full moon, likely waiting for smooches.

First non-digital painting in at least a decade and a half :O ... trying gouache for the first time, as well... the blue is crazy in real life, not sure how to capture it digitally. #gouache #physicalmedia #art #landscape #painting #bluesky

A gouache painting of a green, rolling landscape with a mountain range in the horizon and a blue sky with billowing white clouds, kissable like cotton candy.

Artist holding up a gouache painting, trying to capture the amazingly deep blue, but technology fails him and the Disappointment can be tasted in the air.

Greyscale markers and B&W inks. I'm starting to really like the Posca white pens. The elf lady was done with Copic markers that has a brush tip, allowing layers of shading. #markers #ink #art #physicalmedia #fantasy #sci-fi

Some quick faffing around with markers and ink. It's quite satisfying how big they are... almost like between a brush and pen. Some of the colours on the lady didn't look less vivid scanned, I think it's because they are flourescent. #cyberpunk #post-apocalypse #markers #ink #art #physicalmedia

A session working on Rowan, @trottimus.bsky.social's OC. Two faster pieces and one I worked a little longer on. @highrollersdnd.bsky.social Altheya fan-art. #madewithrebelle

Rowan in the dark, backlit by a window. Panicking, Rowan realises just how afraid he is of being scared.

Rowan finds a shiny friend in the river. We see his amazed face in the reflection of the water.

Rowan sees something that reminds him of a funny piece of shale he saw once and chuckles to himself.

@highrollersdnd.bsky.social Altheya Campaign fan-art. @amadeusfink.bsky.social's OC Xantheus. #madewithrebelle

Xantheus rises from having been forced to grovel by a domination spell and glowers slightly off screen. He has summoned his spectral, runic wings while the taint of crown steel burns from within his arm.

I know I basically already did this piece in digital ink, but I wanted to see if I could do something similar with real markers and ink. Fanart of @rhifrost.bsky.social character Ophelia from the @highrollersdnd.bsky.social Altheya D&D Campaign. #HighRollersDnD #traditionalart #physicalmedia

An ink and marker drawing of the elf Ophelia from Highrollers Altheya D&D campaign wearing goth armor, a red cape and wielding a rapier.

Been away over the holidays so I decided to go back and try some traditional media. I’m trying out markers for the first time. Haven’t drawn on paper for decades so I feel quite rusty, and yes… I know the symmetry on the eyes are wonky. 😂 forgive, please 🫰

Marker drawings of questionable quality, of an 80’s cyberpunk man, a generic woman and a druid elven woman in furs holding a leash (probably looking for a pet).

Continued from previous post: I finished the back of the art, and while both bands liked it, it didn't quite fit. I completely changed the front and that's what got printed. Concept and WIP from the covert art of the Merger Remnant & The Holy Flesh split album that I did. The concept art is me presenting the idea, WIP is the art beginning to to be fleshed out. The idea was to get it more like a "renaissance painting". Neither band was very happy with the progress.
