I think somewhere early on a fascination develops with someone who can just create straight from their head, and people try to be that without knowing how to get there. Same thing with people who try to write a novel in a single draft, editing as they go.

Yeah, probably not worth engaging. Like, I expect I would have trouble getting into the headspace to be hypnotized but I see enough headspace work to see how it could work and would be interested in trying with a skilled partner. I would never claim that it just doesn't work.
