17/30 for the art challenge month. Not a "passing" grade but so much more than nothing. I do a little more art when I am not doing such a challenge, it seems! Also, when I am not in pain, go figure.

Art challenge 27/30 Missed even more days to pain and exhaustion but perhaps I can still finish with a "B." This is progress on a business card of sorts.

Painting of a signature and a frame for a tiny portrait on a business card sized canvas.

Been seeing this trend and it looked fun to try to think back to my "formative" games. These are all games I remember being obsessed with, almost in order.

Art day 17/30. Missed a few. Work has been brutal. Back still hurts. First time doing my nails since I started painting regularly. My precision has increased!

Art challenge 15/30 My new fit for art arrived today and it definitely helps me get into the right headspace. Barely got a color mixed and a few brush strokes in before I had to head out and help a comrade. Still counts!

According to my polycule, I appear to them as a calming entity whenever they get too high or have a bad mushroom trip. It's nice to be helpful.

September art challenge day 12/30. Missed yesterday. Been working hard and the week hit me like a tonne of bricks. Pretty sure I was asleep by 8ish. Today I am trying to recreate a picture. Struggling to make a beige color. Tried Payne's gray, medium yellow, and white. Got a zombie green.

Magnet canvas tile with acrylic paint. Applied with a palette knife to replicate the texture of house siding.

Adorable little bug hanging out on the side of my house the other afternoon.

Finished Timewalk, inspired by the Magic: the Gathering card Time Walk and the original art by legendary illustrator Amy Weber. I have complicated feelings about MtG, many good years and experiences, but I consistently feel let down by recent decisions.

Acrylic on Canvas. Timewalk, inspired by the Magic: the Gathering card Time Walk by illustrator Amy Weber. Acrylic flexible medium used to build the pillars and hillside gateway, styled with a toothpick. No figures are present but the cavern depicted is illuminated with the beginning of the path similarly illuminated to suggest a circuitous loop.

Art challenge day 8/30. Long day, in pain. Had an idea though. Thought I would make this Timewalk doorway into a circuit.

Art month challenge 7/30. My back hurts from moving many heavy things over the last two weeks. I had little energy and was not comfortable without a dedicated setup unpacked yet. Still, another layer on this WIP, little by little.

Art challenge 6/30 Days go by quickly. Our 10yo is expressing her creativity instead of just getting more time on her phone. I could learn a thing or two from her about creative experimenting.

Moving into a single home with my polycule. The work of moving 3 households and consolidating them into one is massive. I am so full of joy and excitement. "Solidarity Forever" will not get out of my head.
