fyi it's HDR (not OLED) that causes that • you might want to look at your settings for something like this to tone it down

Enhanced HDR brightness
Brighten and expand the color range and clarity in High Dynamic Range (HDR) images and videos. HDR content will appear brighter.

(side by side comparison that probably won't work as this is being uploaded from a different device that probably converted this back into an SDR image inbetween everything)

it's funny cuz i was just having a conversation with a friend about the interviews of this insane FM music compilation circa 2011 (ubiktune.com/releases/sou...) and everyone's probably way underselling their astonishingly skilled FM origin stories lmao

from https://ubiktune.com/blog/2017/making-of-soundshock-trilogy-part-1 / Simon Stålenhag: "Back in 2011, I was working as a video game designer at a small mobile game studio, doing FM chiptune music on my spare time. I remember becoming aware of a ringtone somebody in the office had, it sounded like the most kick ass videogame music I had ever heard, and I soon realized it came from my fellow art colleague Mattis's phone. I asked him about it and he said the he had composed it himself. I couldn't believe it - I was already excited by the fact that somebody else in the office was into videogame music. So I told him I was also into that kind of music"

maybe i would but i don't have NSO at the moment due to familial sharing probplems

(i had an extended family reunion right around the time
they changed how family sharing worked and i jumped ship
because it was a rare chance to physically sync and then we
literally never did anything with that and they let their
NSO lapse (presumably never to renew…the price of the
switch 2 is a bonifide capital I Issue to them) but not to
worry because my immediate family group still has a
subscription this only happened well over a year ago and it
still won't let me rejoin it so i probably should contact
support about it but that's beyond the point the point i'm
trying to make here is i'm not about to pay for individual
NSO on a singleplayer focused game i definitely would have
had a different pacing with if i were to play it with
others for the first time although now that i'm no longer
playing natural "explore the stage" levels i'm a little
more open to cooping)

i have a hunch this image is supposed to have transparency? ideally anyone truly committed would find you on a more straightforward file host, but if else fails, i should mention bluesky supports transparency if and only if you use a third party client (i use tokimeki, personally)

"YOU CAN HAVE TRANSPARENT IMAGES ON THIS FORESAKEN WEBSITE" (in dark souls vanquished template text)

shame there's no universal method to give people linked roles with, because if you just rename the linked role you would instantly update everyone else in that timezone and they could still have a normal nickname (linked roles appear as a bonafide bsky label next to the username)

a screenshot of Discord(desktop). showing a message of me with a blob stylized bugdroid winking emoji, to the right of my username and server tag is a role named "based domain owner oh ye…". clicking on the role shows i have linked the following account: Domain

shoutouts to IGDB refusing to potentially call SMB1 in All Stars a port instead of a remaster i mean on some level that's fine, but they won't even upload a screencap of the ingame box art to very clearly signify this is a much different, much less popular, redundant category you shouldn't pick....

A screenshot of Twitch's Dashboard. There are two identical entries for “Super Mario Bros.” (←"frequently cited as one of the greatest and most influential video games of all time")
One is of the game's port in “Super Mario All-Stars”. Every game in that collection has an identical entry. no one should ever use said categories because you're just subjecting yourself to a lesser audience for no reason. nobody cares about the nuance that this is the SNES port exactly, nor is that going to be clearly laid out anywhere on the site. even worse, this redundant category takes up "super-mario-bros" in URLs (the original game is https://www.twitch.tv/directory/category/super-mario-bros-1985)
