🍁Buenos días! Empieza el fresquito en las mañanas y noches por aquí, los días son un poco más amables. He puesto un descuento del 10% en toda la tienda con el código OCTUBRE26. Estoy liquidando algunas cosas, así que algunos productos no volverán. De paso, os cuento algo. Aprovecho para desahogarme.

No son tiempos fáciles. Por varias razones me estoy planteando cosas a corto plazo, como cerrar la tienda (por un tiempo, o definitivamente, no lo se) para reorganizarme y reducir daños. Poder centrarme en otras cosas sin sentir que no tengo ya energía para invertir en algo que las circunstancias han asfixiado y que por mucho que me esfuerce, el paisaje es el mismo.

Llevo un tiempo rumiándolo, viendo como las circunstancias empujan a muchas artistas y artesanas a cerrar sus negocios bajo diversas presiones externas (y también, internas, como la salud). Todavía andamos a vueltas con el tema de regulaciones EPR de resíduos para envíos en la EU y aún no hay solución, por ejemplo. O el tema aranceles. O cualquiera de las crisis mundiales actuales.

Me rompe el corazón la idea de cerrar. Aunque también puede que sea un alivio, porque son muchos años luchando, siento que no puedo hacer más filigranas y siempre, siempre, los factores que vienen a joder están fuera de nuestro control. Y para un negocio pequeño, los últimos 10 años están siendo un despropósito, sujetos a la marea política y económica mundial, a la competencia de negocios masivos con producto de calidad y procedencia dudosa y la IAgen. Somos los negocios más vulnerables, e importamos poco, pese a ser un diminuto engranaje de la economía. Todos sabemos lo que pasa cuando muchos pequeños engranajes fallan en un sistema, muchas averías pequeñas juntas termina siendo una avería grande. Pero en un océano de gente que está jodida, somos solo parte de la espuma que muere en la orilla.

Somos los negocios más vulnerables, e importamos poco, pese a ser un diminuto engranaje de la economía. Todos sabemos lo que pasa cuando muchos pequeños engranajes fallan en un sistema, muchas averías pequeñas juntas termina siendo una avería grande. Pero en un océano de gente que está jodida, somos solo parte de la espuma que muere en la orilla.

Tal vez me quede con hacer unas pocas ferias al año para acercaros mi trabajo (y no sentir que mi esfuerzo se disuelve en esa espuma), las tiendas de impresión bajo demanda y los encargos de ilustración, mientras pueda. No quiero que Folktales, que es mi criaturita, muera del todo. Pero la realidad es la que es.
