@chronicallykrill.bsky.social's Discord server, Chronically Krill, is excited to bring together disabled, chronically ill, neurodivergent folks, and their allies. Their goal is to make #compsplatoon more accessible to all. Read more: www.splatoonstronghold.com/guides/chron...

Pale white dots on a light green background. White text in a green bubble says, "Chronically Krill"; below it in green text over a white background is text saying, "A Community for Disabled Cephalopods! and allies!" To the left of the text is Krilliam, a shrimp holding a walking stick that looks like Splatoon's Bamboozler Charger.

at the end of the day, the point of the game is to win and you win by making better decisions than your opponent more often. if you're aiming for a certain playstyle, you're getting in the way of winning since you're trying to lock yourself into certain decisions regardless of how good they are

So I’m sure a lot of you are wondering what in the world splatbooks.ink actually is. Let me explain the reasoning behind making this, how it can be useful for the scene as a whole, and how you can support me in this project. My hope is for the whole comp scene to benefit from this, for any role.

splatoon raiders devs when designing lava islands

screenshot of a youtube video with title "hexagons are the bestagons" and a thumbnail that looks vaguely similar to the hexagon shapes on splatoon raiders lava islands

i actually edited the title cause now it's something different ("Circles Waste Space. Hexagons Don't.") but the old title is way funnier for this post

i'll use colour lock if nothing else works, but none of the colour lock colours work super well for the edit

working on a content project, does anyone know if there's a way to select which ink color you'll have when loading into a PB game? iirc the game cycles through ink colors deterministically (?) and you can select a ink color in the lobby by watching a replay but idk if that means anything for PBs

I really hate the “I don’t owe anyone anything” mentality because we actually owe each other and this planet a lot. You don’t have to be selfless all the time or burn yourself out but you should be kind and helpful and compassionate to the best of your ability. We need to care about each other more

hi i am FA :) dm on discord @ zapfisk if interested

- Around Div 5-4 Level, Low Ink Banned, Div 4 LUTI S16, Subbed for div 5 LUTI S17, Coming back to comp after 1-2 year break
- EU Timezone (CEST/UTC+2)
- N-Zap, Shot, Splash, .52 Gal, possibly VDualies or Dapples

Looking for a div 5-4 team that
- is 18+
- plays at EU-friendly times
- is neurodivergent and LGBTQIA+ friendly
- practices around 1-2 times a week (i can maybe do more but i'd have to see first)
- if div 5 team, is fine playing with a Low Ink banned player

I'm very active in behind-the-scenes community work (e.g. SBA, Community Census, TOing) and do coaching and occasionally educational content. That means my availability is a bit scuffed, usually it should be easy to schedule around but there may be some days that I can't play because of e.g. TOing. Generally, my ability to grind practice is a bit limited, I might not be able to play X or do individual practice as much, I'm probably not fit for a team that wants to grind like crazy.
