Most things we make go through at least three iterations, as seen here left to right- 1) first test print for size/scale, 2) revised version, 3) addition of cosmetic details to finish it off. #FreeCAD makes it really easy to make everything parametric so going from #1 to #2 is really straightforward

When I started designing 1:18 scale accessories nearly decade ago, I made a folding chair. I just went back and redesigned it from scratch, with the benefit of 9 more years experience. Much much happier with the new version (right) as compared to the old (left).

My current WIP requires a cooler to be perched atop it, so went on a little side quest to make one. End result prints in place with working hinges for the handles and lid, and with a color swap (no AMS required, just a pause) for the white/red. Also made some "ice" to fit inside. #118scale #375inch

Ordered some pre-colored UV resin from AliExpress as an experiment. Thought my absinthe set would be a good test case, and got some green (for pure absinthe) and white (for when its mixed with water). Let me add a nice touch to the printed parts, and was easy and cheap.

Really happy with these figures I found at Half Priced Books. I'm not that into 5PoA figures in general, but these are pretty great, have great accessories, and at $5 a fig, are totally worth it. #375inch #118scale
