Today we're doing pretty good. We definitely use this blue sky account as a means of venting, and expressing things we don't feel like we can express in other places. I'm impressed by those of you who have stuck around. Are any of you waiting for an update on a previous project?

I prefer ground chia, and I soak it ahead of time. The best way I've been able to incorporate it is with an electric mixer. My hands are not yet powerful enough to mix the dough

I should not be so accustomed to being assaulted. I should not feel like one abuser is better than another abuser, because at least this abuser doesn't yell and throw things. Alas this is the reality of childhood abuse and how trauma continues into adulthood.

I proof mine for 90 minutes, the water(or milk) has to be warm enough to activate the yeast. I also will use half ground chia and half eggs for binding (instead of just all eggs). I find if the chia incorporates, the grain holds better for sammies.

It's so fucked up that I'm so accustomed to sexual assault that when it comes to be SA'd by my recent ex - I shrug it off. I'm more angry at how she gets away with it and how many people she's trauma bonded with, than I am angry at being assaulted again.

If you're running a community and you have friends in the community who are racist, rape apologists, transphobic, queerphobic, start arguments just for the fuck of it, and are cruel to other members... And you can't give your friend consequences and kick them, probably stop running a community. 👍

Don't make a zero tolerance rule in your community if you're not willing to enforce it as if you have zero tolerance. I have left so many communities that propose to be safe, have zero tolerance for racism, transphobia, and rape apologists - that the admin team wanted to do nothing about.

I'm really sad that it doesn't seem like enough people understand that when roe v Wade got overturned, we lost privacy of medical Care when it comes to the government. We don't have privacy anymore when it comes to our medical care. It's going to become more apparent real soon. -Charlie & Plio

I don't have any money for charity cases or emergencies for strangers. No not even $5. And I have such mixed feelings when I get followed or reposted by refugees crowdfunding. I don't have literacy to be able to tell which ones are scammers and which ones are legitimate.

Exaaaactly. I looked into statistics of who most often abuses children. Not uncles, not strangers, not school teachers, not siblings. Moms. The cycle needs to be exited, not perpetrated. Everyone understands women being traumatized around men, but not vice versa. Fuckn A. Frustrating.

If you're looking for a computer to handle high-end games AND streaming, AND all the streaming gear You want a computer that has multi-threading BUT you do not want a laptop or mini-PC even though they're cheaper. the APU bottleneck kills the multithreading benefit.

I love a game that challenges you to learn, but I do not like games that are not self contained. If I need to reference a map OUTSIDE of the game to play it AT ALL, not the game for me. If I HAVE to join a discord server to play a game? Not the game for me. I want an immersive world.

So I recognize that frantic, urgent, aggressive behavior is a reflection of pain. I respond to that pain unless my health is at great risk. But I can't expect people to see pain when I get aggressive about neglected needs. It's not fair, but that's reality I guess.

Tetris and Kingdom Hearts 1 2 different gamer switches. Games we're always part of my life, Tetris is the first one I really remember. Loved it instantly, but I was a toddler. 😂 Kingdom Hearts hit in a way that notably added to my identity.

the only way I got more wild with my colors in my art is cause Im colorblind and color theory was PISSN ME OFF so I made up my own color theory for myself and get real weird with it. colors that are "ugly" I use and experiment with what makes them look cool. screw the rules

It's a huge part of why my supports have fallen apart, which has been fatal for me in some situations. (Yay for ER and resuscitations). I've been learning it in the last year of therapy. How do I engage with support in a way they CAN give me help? It's a whole college. Ppl take it for granted.

The support network develops that understanding through familiarity, conversations, and many many interpersonal & self-regulation skills. Through mistakes and repair. Many people take the skill for granted. Don't understand what it's like to have to manually build those skill sets.
