Example: I've been working for 12 years at the hotel I'm employed to. In all of that time I have never once seen the entire laundry and housekeeping staff call off due to the weather. That is a first time ever occuring to my knowledge.

My own Uncle made the news because his Semi broke down in the middle of a roundabout and caused a 4 car pile up. Cops were getting stuck in medians...like I said its been absolute chaos in central Wisconsin. We saw businesses closing down left and right due to the weather...

I've been keeping track of all sorts of accidents via police scaner, over a dozen + accidents on one of the main routes I take to get to Marshfield...cars in ditches,stranded. A passenger bus in the ditch on it side. A milk tanker trapped in the highway...

We have roughly recieved between 18 to 24 inches of snow in my hometown of Marshfield, WI. Wisconsin DOT has placed the majority of central wisconsin roads under "travel not advised" with county police telling folks to not travel at all! Things been getting intense!

In thinking in line of saftey, I got myself a room at the hotel I work at on saturday. Its now 2am monday with little hope in sight to being able to get back home, where I may need to stay for monday night- on my day off. So I have been safe and secure with food, water, bed.
