Fstoppers Photo of the Day for October 16th, 2026 Montepulciano by Paulian Prajitura This was the first time I almost lost my drone. I was sheltered between some walls and I didn't notice the high wind that was blowing. In a few minutes my drone drifted away from me some 500 meters. I panicked of course. I managed to get it back when it had only 10% battery left. Once it was safe I found the courage to take this last photo of the town. --- [Learn how to be selected for POTD Here]

Eldamar’s Hidden Sanctuary
Fstoppers Photo of the Day for October 14th, 2026 Eldamar’s Hidden Sanctuary by Hugo Valle They say there are places in this world where the veil between our reality and ancient realms wears as thin as gossamer. Back in the autumn of 2021, wandering deep into the forests of Plitvice, the rising mist did more than blanket the landscape—it seemed to whisper of forgotten ages. As though the Elven sages of the First Days had cast a ward of quiet mystery over the valley, the falls unveiled themselves through the haze, revealing the true Eldamar’s Hidden Sanctuary. In this haven where time stands still, waters tumble with eternal grace, guarded by ancient trees cloaked in gold and amber to catch the day's fading light. It takes little imagination to picture the Firstborn walking softly along these secluded paths, hidden from the hurried gaze of the world, seeking solace in the roar of the water and the gentle embrace of the fog. For those who know how to truly see, this is far more than a vista in Croatia; it is a gateway, a sanctuary where ancient magic still lingers in every golden leaf. --- [Learn how to be selected for POTD Here]
