Happy 20th anniversary to Kongregate.com! Some of my favorite gaming discoveries happened on that website, and even though it died off for a long time, I still look back at those memories fondly. I hope that now that submissions have re-opened, they'll be able regain their former glory!

I was still holding on to a smidgen of hope that Google would at least be smart enough to supplement Assistant's functionality with AI (i.e., only use AI when Assistant doesn't know how to respond to something), but that's been dashed away as quickly as expected.

Well, as expected, Google removing Google Assistant and forcing Gemini has reduced its functionality. This morning I had to repeat myself three times in slightly different ways before it would start the navigation to work. It kept responding with variants of "Have a great day at work!"

This is exactly why I always try to be detailed in what led to my comment, then only give a quick "Maybe X instead?" afterwards,*if* I feel the need. I'm rarely going to be sufficiently clued in to the full vision to make more definite comments than that.
