Feeling like I may need to add some of the old Gold Box D&D games to my RPG/point-n-click list for next year.

I think I've decided on the first two tracks of this version of the mix. Which necessitated putting together a new mix of one of the songs. We'll see if it works once the entire track list is done.

The highest praise I can give #Nighthawks right now (as I’ve yet to finish) is that it has me in the mood to play more incredible vampire games. Which means it has me in the mood to play the masterpiece that is Vampire: The Masquerade — Bloodlines.

Finished Star Wars Outlaws tonight (yes, I know, I'm a bit behind). Much like other Ubisoft "open world" games, it was far more enjoyable once I started treating it like a linear game with no side quests.

I do love playing a game so well-optimized for PC that its title screen has frame rate drops.

Made a @health.band starter pack mix. 2 CDs, 24 tracks + a 'pre-gap hidden track', 90 minutes of bangers. It was hard to make but I think both the track selection and sequence turned out pretty well.

Nighthawks has sold TEN THOUSAND copies in less than one week! For a tiny studio like ours, this is a huge milestone. To all the supporters, backers, wishlisters, and everyone who believed in this game and us, thank you so much.

Lux and Becca from Nighthawks, with the text "10,000 copies sold."

Well, it's official: I am putting together a list of roley-playey and pointy-clicky games to play as that is all I am going to play in 2027.

3 years ago today we shipped Cyberpunk 2077: Phantom Liberty. For me, it was our final word on what we wanted Cyberpunk 2077 to be. Making it felt like group therapy. We had to rebuild confidence, rethink how we worked, and learn to trust ourselves again as creators.

The more I think about it the more I realize that yes, playing nothing but RPGs and point-and-click adventure games in 2027 is a brilliant idea.

Currently fighting off the urge to: – replay Icewind Dale (enhanced edition) – replay Baldur's Gate II: Shadows of Amn Help! 😨

The "Adults Only" ranking has been removed from Nighthawks! Everything is set for launch on the 22nd! Phew. What a roller coaster. Thank you everyone for your amazing support while we got this sorted. If you weren't able to wishlist before, now you can! store.steampowered.com/app/1221950/...

Obviously having your game erroneously banned for daring to suggest that adults sometimes have sex is an absolute nightmare. Particularly the week before launch! But...I have to admit that playing a vampire in a game deemed "too sexy for Steam" might be the coolest I've ever been.

pcgamer.com

Upcoming vampire RPG Nighthawks has been removed from Steam search and delisted in certain countries as Valve classifies it Adults Only: 'It's very bad news for us'

The label "immediately makes the game persona non grata in several important countries like Germany".

Haven't played many games this year, but here's what I've got under my belt. Planescape: Torment, Pillars of Eternity, Thimbleweed Park, and Star Wars Outlaws are ongoing; Runt is currently on hold. Baldur's Gate 3 is two attempts at Honour Mode totaling 60-65 hours of playtime.

Oh good. Just what I needed: another genre of games to revisit. It’s “bad” enough that I’m revisiting 90s point-and-click adventure games. 😂

Man, the pre-orders for all the Zelda 40th anniversary stuff (minus the carrying case, apparently) have been a clusterfuck. As normal.

Ocarina of Time is one of my favorite games of all time, and the remake looks incredible! Getting this Zelda direct, and gameplay from the remake, today was the best birthday gift! 🤩

Looking to finally play an Owlcat game this fall (hopefully), and I'm seriously leaning towards Wrath of the Righteous. (Though no matter which Owlcat game I play, I'm looking at over 100 hours with the game.)
