Good news, it looks like the cycletrack was not interrupted by Extra Virgin valet! Still strange that of the entire new build, this is the one place with pavers instead of poured concrete but I'll take it.

Facing west down 19th St at Main St in Kansas City. A new cycletrack is complete on the south side with bollards, concrete pavers, and paint. Street parking is on the north side of the cycletrack, but not for the last half block where the track diagonally meets Main St.

Very spoiled to get to attend 2 streetcar extension openings in the span of a year. Hopefully this becomes a regular occurrence!

This lane isn't complete yet, but I really hope this isn't the intended use for this new lane. The sign in the right says Valet Only Fri/Sat 5-11pm, but it also says Paid Parking M-F so I think it's the old signage.

This part of the new cycle track gets to suck because Extra Virgin seemingly can't operate without valet car parking.

The Bus Bus Stop at 18th and Holmes

Looks about the width of a cycletrack, hopefully this is phase 2 of the 19th/SW Blvd road diet! This will connect Gillham to SW Blvd.

Despite the crummy weather (that I biked in to get to), the grand opening of the @kcstreetcar.org Main St Extension was full of energy. Good speakers and crowd. My (first of many to come!) ride back was great - there are a lot of panoramic views I hadn't imagined as you near downtown!

New bike infra exploration, I biked up to the end of the new 152 Trail north extension. Very pretty and connects the Line Creek all the way up to Ambassador! Only a few miles from my dream Prairie View/London Ave airport trail.

Turns out the new 27th paint is just for an eastbound lane. There's a sharrow marking up the hill for westbound. Hopefully the new lanes gets some protection because there were already cars parked in it.

As I hoped, new cycle track on 27th extending from Gillham. No connection to the Main streetcar lanes for one block though. Also, heading west on 27th at Gillham will require two crossings. Still nice to be getting this!
