the best part of FromSoft games is the discovery. get out there and fight a dragon, explore a cave full of stars, meet a swamp cult. it's an ENORMOUS game, take it slow, grind runes, change your class / weapon / playstyle. just don't give up because the game is hard. it's always gonna be hard.

use ALL of the mechanics. read messages from other players, summon other characters (real and NPCs) to help with tough fights, spend FP to use spirit ashes and summons. they put that stuff in the game to help. I REALLY recommend picking up the new DLC stuff ($5) and playing as the Idus Knight.
