Yeah the whole loop with riding to and from would have put us at 74 km. Pathway riding is a little more taxing on the body then the same distance & elevation on a smooth road. They finished still smiling ☺️

Sunday Funday with @bromptonleague.bsky.social. Lots of wheels and smiles. The #twowheelview rummage sale special performed flawlessly. We took the train shortcut back to downtown for a total of around 44 km. Finished with some more climbing :) #yycbike

Another 9 speed for the collection!! Pulled this out of the pile at the #twowheelview rummage sale. #yycbike. Not sure of the year of this Allez or who kitted it out in full #Campy but cheers to you! I'd say it's a brand new 1999! Pirelli rubber saddle is not bad on the tush.

It's definitely off. That light is about 90 seconds timing. 40 light cycles per hour. You would need two to three cyclists for every light cycle of the day. On busy days if counting both ways maybe. It was either under counting the first five years it was there or over counting now...

Jenny cartwheeled her bike on the Legacy trail last October. First big hill, she was going close to 40 km/h. I ended up running her bike over and crashing into the bush, we were all okay. Small wheels can be unforgiving at high speeds..... Not a lot of rubber contacting the pavement.

Cheapest I saw for midweek, round trip, three people with seat selection was around $135 without bikes. None of the bookings I saw had bike slots available. Not sure what that would cost probably like another $200. Lol.

For all the #yycbike folk who enjoyed the bus to Banff..... It is now cheaper to rent a full size F-150 and fill it with gas then it is to take the bus. Based on one adult and two children +3 bikes to Banff.... Add a second adult and it's substantially cheaper to rent the truck.....

Her bike is geared well. 130 mm cranks with 32t front ring, 12-38 cassette. She can really spin it.

My benno boost is surprisingly light for a full size longtail. 58lbs stock with rack. I upgraded the wheels to spank and the bars and seatpost are carbon, dropped it down to like 57.5lbs. Lol. Over 100 lb at this size seems a little ridiculous.
