One of the arguments of Mere Christianity is that each of us have this inner voice that teaches right and admonishes against wrong. No matter the historical context, it exists. For C. S. Lewis, that voice is God.

The Philippines’ low ranking in the report is unsurprising because long working hours, being constantly on-call for work, and a lack of job flexibility reflect a poor workplace culture across the country, according to Yonaha. sc.mp/u7d7t?fbclid...

Philippines scores poorly on work-life balance. Filipinos are not surprised
Low wages, poor workplace culture and heavy traffic are among the factors hampering Filipinos from enjoying a good work-life balance.

Last week's RDL was about #gratitude. It was straightforward until I got to the part asking if I was grateful for pain and failures. Naturally, I was not. How could anyone ever be thankful for that? I asked my spiritual director about the line between mindful gratitude and #self-delusion.

One thing I learned from #Arendt is that pluralism is a fact of life. People come from a multitude of perspectives, and this is unavoidable. To believe that we could somehow reach a monolithic view is a delusion. The way forward is to manage these differences without compromising action.
