In a couple days, I’m finally headed back to Japan after a long 10 years since I last went. A lot has certainly changed in those 10 years. This is my third time there; and excited to enjoy an adventure of not so much touristy stuff, but an adventure of go anywhere and anything.

Well PS3 and RPC3 can now play WKC2 online crossplay. Thankfully because this game uses a full dedicated server, there is compatibility for the two to play together! Coming soon :)

While working on the translation for Dirge of Cerberus Lost Episodes, I found out that for the English text, they made some sacrifices to how the game displays text to make more room and left out some QoL stuff like colored speaker names. So I went ahead and reimplemented that.

After four days of bruteforcing and spending over $900, the FULL version of FFVII Dirge of Cerberus Lost Episode has been preserved by @yuvi.app! The game's SD card data, which it fully relies on, remained encrypted until now. Despite being 9MB, the game contains cutscenes and voice acting.

Funny enough, the game contained some leftover English for only the tutorial mission of the game. I went ahead and enabled it, but a full translation will still need to happen. Happy to help with that endeavor if anyone steps up to do it.

Thank you! I had made this work yesterday on emulator, but did not realize they were inaccurate when it came to hardware for video playback. So after some work got it working in hardware correctly. This should help all PC-FX translations going forward since most games all use this format.

Tales of Fandom Vol. 1 for PSX now has working online leaderboards again! I just finished the server implementation. You might be asking, "How does the PSX have online connectivity?" Well, you could use certain docomo Keitai back then to give you PSX internet access. So cool!

A new partial copy of Before Crisis FFVII was preserved by NaoyaShinota! This copy contains Turk data for Cissnei, as well as a battle map and sprites for Weapon D Mode (postgame superboss mode). Now we preserved four Turks: Rod, Gun (Male), Nunchuck, and Shuriken (aka Cissnei).

That's cool! Since I have a VWF, my code just fits the text properly with no manual alignment needed. I have been working on this (even if small) since around 2022 or so. But either way my hacking work is all done until a translation is finished, which so far I have one person working on.

Well... it's official... I need a translator for Tenerezza; the RE work is all but done. This has really been on my list to get done for far too long now. Happy to have made it all work, made the game work with 1-byte ASCII and everything as before that would crash no matter what.
