It’s the end of an era: we are sunsetting rpubs.com, quartopub.com, and shinyapps.io in favour of connect.posit.cloud. These services are important, but we need to focus our efforts on a single platform (and it’s overall less confusing to have one place to publish everything you do in R or Python).

Got this death sentence from CRAN. While it's totally my fault not to notice this Rust requirement for years, maybe it's time to leave CRAN? 1.77.2 is too old... #rstats > The CRAN policy requires you to have tested prior to submission with a version at least 2 years old, so no later than 1.77.2.

I implemented a simple Rust crate to read/write a Gpkg file. This crate is built on top of rusqlite, so you can also use this on web browsers! crates.io/crates/rusql... One caveat about Wasm is that, while rusqlite should support OPFS (sahpool-opfs), I'm yet to find how to use it...
