電車で印象的なシーンというと、「その着せ替え人形は恋をする」で、海夢ちゃんが五条くんに恋してしまったその瞬間。この電車、外側は埼京線っぽいのですが、内装がりんかい線っぽいのですよね😅 たぶん池袋から大宮まで乗ったはずで、相互乗り入れしている路線なのでどちらでも矛盾はないのですが、はっきりしてほしいところ💦

The train's exterior looks like the Saikyo Line, but the interior looks like the Rinkai Line 😅

She likely rode it from Ikebukuro to Omiya; since the lines share tracks, neither option is technically a contradiction, but I do wish they’d make it clear 💦

おー。ついに私にも来てしまった🥺 しかもムラウチドットコムの漏洩なのですけど、楽天市場経由で注文したデータが盗まれたということは、楽天に登録したメールアドレスが漏洩したということにほかならないですねえ。暗号化とは言っているものの、強度は分からないですので。私は大昔から各ネットサイトに登録するメールアドレスを別々にしてこの日に備えていたのですけれど、こういう漏らし方をされてしまうと、結局影響範囲が大きくなりますね😰

I’ve long made a habit of using different email addresses for different websites to prepare for a day like this, but when a leak happens this way, the scope of the impact ends up being huge anyway. 😰

京王線アニメはあるかなあと考えたら、はたらく魔王さまがありましたね。笹塚駅で、鈴乃の正体に遅まきながらエミリアが気づくシーンは傑作でした😅 あと車両として銚子電鉄に移籍した2000系が出ていました。なかなかマニアックなチョイスでは。

When I wondered if there were any anime featuring the Keio Line, I remembered *The Devil Is a Part-Timer!*

The scene at Sasazuka Station where Emilia finally realizes Suzuno's true identity was a masterpiece. 😅

Also, the 2000 series—which was actually transferred to the Choshi Electric Railway—appeared as a train in the show. That’s quite a niche choice.

秋アニメ「てつりょー！meet with 鉄道むすめ」を見てみました。鉄道アニメなので全国に旅する話だとは思うのですが、本拠地は西武新宿沿線みたいですね。１話は川越へ。ライオンズ派としては嬉しいですが。例えば川越行く話なら、池袋を舞台にして東武東上線でもいいはずなんですけれども。いや、東武は「宇宙よりも遠い場所」とか「らき☆すた」とか聖地巡礼の大物がいるのでそれはそれでいいのでしょうか。東急とかは大都市同士を結んでしまっているぶん非日常感が出ないのがネックなのか、あんまりアニメには出てきませんね。みなさまの贔屓の鉄道会社が登場するアニメがあればご紹介くださいませませ✨

I checked out the autumn anime *Tetsuryo! Meet with Tetsudo Musume*.
Since it’s a railway-themed anime, I expected a story about traveling across the country, but it seems their home base is actually along the Seibu-Shinjuku Line.
The first episode takes them to Kawagoe—which is a treat for a Seibu Lions fan like me.

For a trip to Kawagoe, they could just as easily have set the story in Ikebukuro and used the Tobu Tojo Line.
Then again, Tobu already has major "pilgrimage" hits like *A Place Further than the Universe* and *Lucky Star* under its belt, so perhaps that’s fine as it is.

Railways like Tokyu don't seem to appear in anime very often; perhaps the drawback is that they connect major urban centers, making it hard to evoke that sense of "stepping out of the ordinary."

If there are any anime featuring your favorite railway companies, please do let me know!

Incidentally, exactly 24 hours after taking this photo, I was at Belluna Dome taking pictures of a coffee float and a platter of five assorted sausages. 💦

I was moving all over the place in between, too. 🚃

10/10～12に行われた西武ライオンズ対日ハムのクライマックスシリーズ第１ステージは、西武の１勝２敗。残念ながら敗戦で、今シーズンの戦いはここで終了となってしまいました。勝ちたかったですねぇ。ですが、一昨年６位、昨年５位からよくぞここまで勝ち上がってきたものだと思います。来年に向けての戦いはここからスタートですね。さらに強くなった西武ライオンズを見せていただければと思います。

In the Climax Series First Stage against the Nippon-Ham Fighters held from October 10 to 12, the Seibu Lions finished with one win and two losses. Unfortunately, this defeat marked the end of their campaign for the season.

We certainly wanted to win. However, considering they finished 6th the year before last and 5th last year, it is truly impressive how far they managed to climb. The battle for next year begins now.
I look forward to seeing an even stronger Seibu Lions team.

週末に徳島県鳴門市にある、池谷駅に行ってきましたよ。 JR四国の高徳線・鳴門線の分岐点にあたる駅なのですが、面白いのはその駅構造。両方の線のホームがＶ字型に分かれその間に駅舎があるのですが、それぞれの間を跨線橋で結んでいます。階段上り下りしないとどのホームにも行けないのですね💦 必要があってこの形になったのでしょうが、唯一無二なのではないでしょうか。

I visited Iketani Station in Naruto City, Tokushima Prefecture, over the weekend.
It serves as the junction for JR Shikoku’s Kotoku and Naruto lines, but what makes it interesting is its layout.

The platforms for the two lines diverge in a V-shape with the station building situated between them, and a pedestrian overpass connects the different sections.

You have to go up and down stairs to reach any of the platforms. 💦
I imagine this design was adopted out of necessity, but it must be truly one-of-a-kind.

快晴のベルーナドームへ来ましたよ。今日、西武ライオンズが勝利すれば、めでたくクライマックス第２ステージに進めます。しかし日ハムも簡単には譲ってはくれないでしょう。私としてはこれが今年最後のベルーナ応援になるかもしれないので、ぜひ勝って欲しいところです🥺 いつもより３割うまい感じで応援します📣

Even though the characters are supposed to be the same, the visual style is so different that it’s confusing. 🌀

東大阪のポケふた、トゲデマル＆ワンパチ。花園中央公園にあるこのポケふたでは、ワンパチとトゲデマルの２匹がラグビーを楽しんでいますね。東大阪のポケモンはいずれも工業都市東大阪を象徴するポケモンが選ばれているので、でんきポケモン・はがねポケモンの中から、ボール遊び向けということでこの二匹が選ばれたのでしょう。ただ、ラグビーボールってしっかり持たないとあちこちに行っちゃうのですよね。２匹ともボールの動きに苦労したのではないでしょうか。

The Pokémon selected for Higashiosaka’s covers are chosen to symbolize the city’s identity as an industrial hub; given that, it seems likely these two were picked from among Electric and Steel types because they are well-suited for playing with a ball.

Of course, rugby balls can be tricky to handle—if you don't hold onto them firmly, they tend to go flying off in all directions.
I imagine both Pokémon struggled a bit to keep the ball under control.

小田急多摩センターと京王多摩センター。両方とも新宿に向かう線を持っているまるかぶり路線です。さぞかしライバル関係でバチバチに戦った結果、キティちゃんの誘致合戦になったのかとおもいきや、意外とこの二社の仲は悪くないようです。スタンプラリーを共同開催したこともあるみたいですね。

Odakyu Tama Center and Keio Tama Center.

Both are lines that go to Shinjuku, so they're practically identical lines.

You might think they're fierce rivals, and that this led to a bidding war to attract Hello Kitty, but surprisingly, these two companies seem to get along quite well.

They've even co-hosted a stamp rally together.

目黒の空中庭園行ってみました。実は自転車でよく通りかかっていたのですけれど、空中庭園には行かなかった理由。場所がよく分からなかったのです💦 珍しく歩いて行ったのでよく見ると、地上から空中庭園行きのエレベーターがあるのですね。行ってみたところ本当に庭園です。首都高のループ状のジャンクションの上にループ状の庭園を造ってしまったのですね。すごい。近所のみなさまの素敵な散歩道になっているようです。

I decided to check out the "Sky Garden" in Meguro.

Actually, I had often ridden my bicycle nearby, but I never visited the Sky Garden before—simply because I didn't quite know where it was. 💦

Then, on a rare occasion when I happened to be walking by, I took a closer look and realized there was an elevator right there on the ground level that takes you up to the garden.

When I went up, I found a genuine garden. They actually built a loop-shaped garden right on top of the loop-shaped junction of the Shuto Expressway. It’s amazing.

It seems to serve as a lovely walking path for the local residents.

10/5にZOZOマリンスタジアムで行われた西武ライオンズ対ロッテは、終盤に大量点を取った西武ライオンズが7-1で勝利しました。これで最終戦を待たずして西武ライオンズの２位が確定し、私たちファンにとっても大事なことには、CS第１ステージの開催がベルーナドームに決まりました。うれしい🥺🥺🥺 しかし、どこで開催されるにしろ日本ハムは強敵です。今シーズンの直接対決成績は２５戦で１２勝１２敗１引き分け💦 CS第１ステージも薄氷の戦いになりそうな気がします。せめて私にできることとして、一生懸命応援したいと思います📣

東所沢へ行きました。アニメマンホール群が名物ですが、駅前のファイブスターストーリーズのマンホールが割れてました🥺 こんなの初めて見ますねえ。強度には気をつけて作られているとは思うのですが。ふた部分はネジで止められているので、交換できるようにはなっていそうな気もしますが、大丈夫かしらん。

I visited Higashi-Tokorozawa. The area is famous for its collection of anime-themed manhole covers, but I noticed that the *Five Star Stories* one right in front of the station was cracked. 🥺

I’ve never seen anything like that before.

I assume they were manufactured with durability in mind, though. Since the cover is secured with screws, it looks like it could be replaced—but I do wonder if it’s going to be okay.

まだベルーナドームかエスコンフィールドか開催地が決まっていないのですが、きょう午前９時からチケット一般枠の予約です。忘れないように予約しないと🎫 さいきん、渡辺九段 vs S6とかサンライズ寝台席とか、チケット争奪戦に負け続けているので頑張りたいところ。

The venue hasn't been decided yet—it'll be either Belluna Dome or Escon Field—but general ticket reservations open at 9:00 AM today. I need to make sure I book mine so I don't forget! 🎫

Lately, I've been losing every battle for tickets—whether it's for the Watanabe 9-dan vs. S6 match or a sleeper berth on the Sunrise train—so I'm really hoping to come out on top this time.

I feel like I should write more about the stadium food at Belluna Dome, but the reality is that when I'm busy cheering, I just don't have the mental bandwidth to really savor the flavors 😓

Anyway, here is the "Shishirian Rice" that I've been eating a lot lately. I usually have it before the game starts. It really is delicious 😋

パ・リーグは西武ライオンズと日本ハムファイターズが熾烈な２位争いが繰り広げられています。２位なんてどっちでもいいじゃない、と思われるかもしれませんが、クライマックスシリーズの第１ステージがどちらの本拠地で行われるかというのが変わるので、選手にとってもファンにとっても大違いなのです。この夏に北海道のエスコンフィールドに行ってきましたが、ＣＳのためにもう一度いくのはさすがにお金持ちかとかでないと🥺 エスコンフィールド、とてもいい球場でしたけどねぇ。やはりベルーナドームで応援したいものです。こちらはエスコンフィールドの、ぐるぐる巻いたシャウエッセン。おいしゅうございました😋

You might be thinking, "Does it really matter who takes second place?" but it makes a huge difference for both the players and the fans, as it determines which team gets to host the first stage of the Climax Series.

I visited Escon Field in Hokkaido this summer, but going back again for the Climax Series is something only the wealthy could afford to do 🥺

Escon Field was a fantastic ballpark, though. Still, I’d really love to cheer for the team at Belluna Dome.

ポケモンGO、最新版はiPhone 6sとiPhone 7では起動しなくなりましたね🥺 まあ元々起動するので精一杯の状態ではありましたが、家の中での操作用として使っていました。このままサポートからフェードアウトなのか、まだ次バージョンで復活させる気があるか。いずれにしろもう限界なのは間違いないと思います。

The latest version of Pokémon GO no longer launches on the iPhone 6s and iPhone 7, does it? 🥺

Then again, those devices were already struggling just to get the app running in the first place.

I wonder if support is being quietly phased out, or if they still intend to bring it back in a future update.

Either way, there is no doubt that those models have reached their limit.

日曜日に藤井聡太六冠カプチーノでも飲みに棋の音カフェに行こうかなあと思ったのですが、よく考えたら絶対ダメな日ですね😅 棋の音で「渡辺九段VSS6」のイベントやってる日です。大混雑必至です💦 「イケメンは敵」のキャッチフレーズを掲げた渡辺九段がイケメン軍団を成敗するか、S６が返り討ちにするか、楽しみです。ちなみに私はこのイベントは2000円の配信チケット買いました。現地チケットは瞬殺でなくなっちゃったので🥺 ちなみに私はS６の中では伊藤二冠推しです。デビュー時から10年後には立派なイケメンに成長するに違いないと思っていました。

I thought about heading to the "Ki-no-Ne" cafe on Sunday to enjoy a "Sota Fujii Six-Crown" cappuccino, but then I realized—that’s definitely not the day to go. 😅

That’s the day they’re hosting the "Watanabe 9-Dan vs. S6" event. It’s bound to be absolutely packed. 💦

I’m really looking forward to seeing whether Watanabe 9-Dan—who has adopted the slogan "Handsome Men Are the Enemy"—will take down the "Handsome Squad," or if S6 will turn the tables on him.

By the way, I bought a 2,000-yen streaming ticket for the event, since the in-person tickets sold out in a flash. 🥺

Also, among the S6 members, I’m a big fan of Ito 2-Dan. Ever since he debuted, I was convinced he’d grow up to be a truly handsome man.
